Everyone I have spoken with so far has been kind and caring to my and my family needs. Prescriptions are done quickly and are ready for when I need them! Very impressed compared to Shoppers. Happy with making the change!

I had always held this pharmacy in high regard until this past week. Recently, I called in a prescription refill that Hauser’s had filled for me in June. I received a call to clarify the exact pills I preferred and specified with the lady who called me which brand and informed her it will be the SAME pills as I was given in June. She confirmed they had them in stock. I picked them up on Thursday and did not open the bag to check when I was in the Pharmacy - after getting home I realized they had given me a different pill, which was even 100 mg weaker than the previous pills given. I called immediately and asked, very nicely, for them to please prepare the correct pills and I would bring these in to return. When I arrived for pick up on Friday, the lady working behind the counter asked the Pharmacist, George, to help her with the refund. I was shocked when, in front of other customers, he began to berate me that he was now out of pocket for these pills I was returning and I should understand that he would now have to throw them out - I told him to stop right there and asked if he was suggesting I should cover the cost of their mistake - he eluded to the fact I had these pills before (perhaps years ago, but certainly not recently) and as he circled the amount on the bill in a very arrogant fashion he stated, “I will refund you THIS TIME” and that the front counter would look after me. I was embarrassed and, frankly, humiliated by this treatment. When I looked back at the Pharmacy counter, he and his assistant were staring at me as if I had done something offensive. If I had not been so shocked, I would have asked them to also refund the second dispensary fee they had charged me to fix their mistake, but I chose to transfer my prescription elsewhere instead. I will add that the store manager and other staff at the front counter were lovely and I’m sure could see from my expression that I was very upset. One fellow customer, that had witnessed this confrontation, came up to me and told me he that he admired the way I had handled that incident. It’s unfortunate that one individual can completely ruin a store’s reputation. I have shopped here often for gifts, as well - I no longer feel comfortable doing that either.

I work at hausers now. I have been employed since I was 14. Working all kinds of different jobs from construction ,to being a director at a trucking company for many years, plus military for 20 years. Working at Hausers is fun ,rewarding, and the people I work with are exceptional. It’s like a big team, everyone is there to help and will do at anytime. All I can really say is I love my job and the people I work with from Phil all the way down to the girls on the cash

The last few times I have been in everyone has been so unfriendly and borderline rude. Almost as if I am bothering them asking a question or picking up my prescription. Most likely will be switching pharmacies.

Second time in this pharmacy overhearing the male pharmasist whining on the phone for over 2 mins about having to deal with doctor's and how he will reluctantly take care of the faxing that meeds to happen, and he's not happy about it...just send the fax, I would do it so you can wait on your customers in line

By far, Hauser's in Dunnville has been the best pharmacy I've ever used. Pharmacy staff are always knowledgeable and friendly and they have gone above and beyond for me on numerous occasions. Their over-the-counter drug prices are quite reasonable for a busy pharmacy, too! They have a quaint gift section to browse through that always has great gift ideas in it and fun stuff for your home. On errand days, I never mind stopping in at Hauser's!
