“Stumbled onto DooCoo while visiting Hamilton. This is the most adorable shop, lots of pins, stickers, hair accessories, block building kits, anime, etc. Staff were very helpful and friendly, prices are great!”

“You have to support this lovely locally owned shop! Not sure how we've missed this Locke Street gem before as it's been here since the 80's. Pure Home Couture is a stunning apothecary in an a second floor loft space on Locke. I was immediately in aww of the gorgeous high beamed ceilings and original yet well maintained worn wooden floors. The decor is giving Parisian vibes
with French armories, chandeliers, harvest tables, Marie busts and beautifully displayed row upon row of locally made candles, soaps, perfumes and salts. Everything is locally made. My favourite scent was Sea Salt and the Blood Orange.”

“I’ve been buying Dutchman’s Gold beeswax candles and Honey & Propolis Throat Spray since 2019, I couldn’t be happier with their products and exceptional customer service!
Their website is user-friendly, and if you join their email list, you’ll be notified of any sales or promotions, which is great, because you’ll love with their products.
They’re conscious of the environment mail (e.g. for mail orders, there’s no wasted space in the box, while keeping items secure). On one occasion, I ordered Propolis Throat Spray and the cap must’ve loosened in transit and leaked, I sent a photo to the company, they quickly replied and shipped me a replacement free of charge.
Honey & Propolis Throat Spray: I’m cautious when it comes to cough syrups since I’m asthmatic and can’t use cough suppressants, so I gave this a try when I had a bad cold and sore throat, it was a lifesaver and soothed my throat right away! Now, I keep it stocked and use it as soon as my throat hurts. I love that Dutchman’s adds peppermint oil to their propolis, because not only is it cooling and soothing, it minimizes any medicinal taste.
Beeswax Candles: Gift-able packaging, variety of sizes, burns nicely, maintains a strong high-flame, doesn’t emit black smoke, wax doesn’t drip, and they smell incredible.
Highly recommend this company and their products!”

“I do corp orders and I been coming here for the last 10yrs when the old owner John was still alive. God bless his soul. The agreement has always been beautiful but the fruits are not always good. Sometimes it's not fully ripe such as strawberry borderline green so very sour. In 2016 we placed an order worth $1500 for a big function and most of the fruits are not ripe. I would have given 3or4/5 stars but recently I have been helped by Rebecca and she is wonderful to deal with. I will only be going back because of her excellent customer service. She deserves a raise.”
