Very knowledgeable when it comes to fish and always willing and eager to pass on tips and advice that he has learned.
Fish and all animals are very well cared for, I have never seen a dead fish floating around in any of his tanks unlike some other stores in the area.
Beware of Chico the bird. He loves to give shoppers a fright from time to time haha

This pet store is incredible! I just got my first hamster here, and Jacob was super helpful throughout the whole process. Seriously impressed—this is my new go-to spot for all my pet needs. Thank you!!!

Was just there with my kids, women with too much makeup asks me if I need help, I said "we're browsing at the moment". She then paused for a few seconds and proceeded to tell me "I'm sorry but we do not allow drinks in the store" so I grabbed my kids and said ," come on guys, were leaving. We'll buy what we need elsewhere.'
My coffee was not open, and I was in no danger of spilling it. She did help me a few times on other items that I purchased. She perhaps does not have the brainpower to recognize us.
Anyways there items are overpriced for the other pet stores in town.
Edit: The store's response is intended to make me look like I've somehow abused this person, except commenting on excessive makeup, which is a fact
I left the store as previously written, nothing else .I demand a retraction as this is clearly defamation of character.
Highly unprofessional, and will lodge a complaint with the mall and with BBB.
It appears that the no drinks policy is only being used when people are just browsing in an effort to kick them out. I have previously entered this store while this woman was working with the same two kids, with a drink, and she said nothing. Could it be because the owner or other male was chatting her up real good?
Anyways. The way I was kicked out , timing was rather bizarre and needs to be investigated.

I really love that there’s a bird by the name of Chico that flies around the store freely for years. His wings have never been clipped and he adores the owners. He never flies away. So every time I visit I’m sure to be greeted by him.

Someone please save the pets here, there have been countless reports of the animals having fleas and health problems and the store just responds with "oh yeah dw we take care of our animals?" when they really don't. The rabbits are stuffed in small cages that are slowly killing them and when someone in person brings it up they get kicked out. This store is awful, if you actually care aboht pets and want a pet that will live please look into animal rescues?? This petstore neglects their animals so badly and the workers do nothing but stare at you hoping you won't take pictures of the animals' poor condition. Awful petsore, I hope it gets shutdown.

The store currently has rabbits on for sale that look incredibly sickly. Poor weight, low energy and poor living conditions. I wanted to bring my concerns regarding one bunny in specific to the attention of the store worker. The pet store was unoccupied (obviously like always) as the worker (who I believe is the son to the owner) was across the way sitting on his phone in an an entirely different store across from the pet store. When I brought my concerns about the rabbits health to his attention, I was met with incredibly rude/disrespectful remarks from the employee. The employee dismissed my concerns and played it off like the bunny was "sleeping". I've owned rabbits, that bunny wasn't "sleeping" . As a nurse and an animal lover, I am completely disgusted by this pet stores lack of consideration for the well-being of the animals in their care. They are completely unethical when it comes to caring for these animals/ ensuring their health & safety. They should be disgusted and ashamed of themselves

ATTENTION!!!!! STRANGER DANGER!!!!!!I am beyond disgusted with the old guy working at Gveahs pet store. He was staring at my daughter like she was a meal. I regret taking her in there. I got instant bad vibes. The police should definitely look into this guy. I will not be back and I will tell everyone to stay away. GROSS!!!!!!!
