I recently purchased a diamond necklace valued at nearly $3000 from the Michael Hill store in Vaughan Mills. The piece I initially chose was a beautifully shiny diamond, exactly what you would expect. The salesperson offered to clean the necklace before handing it over to me. They took it to a back room, and a few minutes later, they returned it, boxed and ready to go. However, they did not show me the necklace again before I left the store.Trusting their service, I took the necklace home, only to discover that it appeared to be a different, inferior item. The diamond seemed milky and lacked the luster of the one I had selected in the store, and there was noticeable rust on the necklace - a clear sign that this was not the piece I had chosen.Feeling disappointed and concerned, I took the necklace to another Michael Hill location, this time at Hill Crest. Here, I must commend the manager and the team for their exceptional service. They addressed the issue professionally and replaced the necklace with a brand-new one that matched my original selection.This experience left me wary of the Vaughan Mills store. If such a mix-up happened to me, it could happen to others. I would advise future customers to be cautious, particularly regarding the items and service at this location. There's a possibility that the store might inadvertently or otherwise switch your selected item for a lesser one.Huge thanks to the Hill Crest store for their support and for restoring my faith in Michael Hill's quality and customer service.

I received very good assistance for a ring I had been eyeing on their website. They helped me try multiple designs and sizes before I finalised mine. There was only 1 SKU available of that style in the entire Michael Hill network of stores in Canada and they helped me get it in a week’s time.

Worst location. Their manager decides what days they want to do returns. You have to fight with the staff to get anything done. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else

I bought my girlfriend a beautiful white gold diamond ring under $1000.00 dollars, the staff were awesome and I bought my last 3 gifts there, great location, knowledgeable staff, good variety of jewelry ... very happy

Very bad experience and also very poor Customer service. Bought a pendant from there and the chain broke even before I could wear. I went in to trade another chain they wouldn't let me switch for another thicker chain so I wouldn't loose my pendant. I was willing to pay the difference but still they wouldn't let. Me. And very unfriendly Customer service. I Will never shop there again. Bad experience first time and that will be the last time.

We Went to this branch today and we had a really bad experience with one of the sales persons named QUEEN,she left us in the middle of conversation and started helping a different customer who was purchasing more expensive item.We left the store happily at the end because AREZOO helped us very nicely after and she made it up to us.I wish I could give Arezoo a different rate but that experience was awful with that sales rep.

Purchased a necklace and there was a 15% discount for earrings and necklaces as I saw it on their website. I decided to visit this store to buy it. But they did not apply this promotion when I cashed out. So after I told them, they just made it for me with an expression like they were not happy. It was not a big thing but I hoped at least not to think that your customers don’t know it.

Very bad customer service. All they want to do is sell you anything, and they will LIE to you and DECEIVE you. They will be super nice to you when they want to sell you something, but the complete opposite when you want to return something, or if they know that you're just asking questions without the intent of buying anything at that moment. When returning anything they will grill you and they will try to make the experience very bad for you with about a bunch of employees surrounding you while you're returning something

I had a broken chain that had broke for a second time and Nagi was very kind and helpful. I have never experienced this type of customer service from any jewelry store that I have been to. I'll be sure to return to this michaelhill and be sure to stay in contact with Nagi for any future purchases.

Lana should be fired! This is just ridiculous at this point. I’ve read so many reviews saying how bad she is and how she is not helpful.I came in to exchange my purchase and although I understand there is a grace period in which to do so it’s COVID and she should be more compassionate. She belittled me and lectured me as if I was a toddler. This is by far the worse thing someone can do. I took my item back and left immediately.I then proceeded to go to Square One where I was helped immediately and got to make the exchange I wanted spending another $2000 because I was so pleased with the rep there.Just goes to show what good customer service can do.Do yourself a favour and don’t shop at this location until they get better staff. Zero Stars!

After experiencing TERRIBLE customer service at Peoples my boyfriend and I stepped in Michael Hill only to be greeted by the most exceptional experience! Nagi was our sales representative and she was amazing at helping me feel excited and actually listened to what my vision was! Thank you again for making this such a pleasant and beautiful experience!
