Marco was very, very sweet and professional, and although I tried to leave him a tip, he said he couldn't accept it! Shame on IKEA Vaughan for interfereing in the transaction of happy client and ikea worker! Service indystry workers are some of the hardest working and most poorly paid workers They should be allowed to accept tips as any restaurant would do! Very poor company policy...likely created by management who makes better wages and works better hours. I thought IKEA was ethical!

I usually don't give less stars when providing feedback. Today we would like to have lunch before our shopping. Food/environment is good, the food price increased (since last time visit long time ago) which makes sence considering inflation rate.
However, the only lady at the checkout was staring at us when we self-served our food. It's been feeling like we are a thief. When checking out, she told us we took too much salad in the bowl (which we don't think it is the case by comparing with other people) and decided to charge us extra money for 2 bowls!!! We argued and finally got the one bowl price as did other people. We didn't understand what's wrong with us. If Ikea wants to max revenue, plz just rasie the price as mush as you can or shut down the "cheap" restaurant. We will pay what we get, but plz treat your customer politely.

Sunday lunch hour a lot of people. No apple juice and no fries. We were told we need to wait 1 hour for fries. As we see all the baskets were empty hanging on top, so I guess they need to wait to get it all at once and not do it as needed? Not an acceptable time as fries are like the main dish for kids

IKEA breakfast has reasonable price and good quality however the hours of opening in the morning are changing multiple times without updating the site in Vaughan location. The portions of traditional breakfast in decreasing. I tried to complete my breakfast with other healthy options but I couldn’t find regular ikea options. Many times there is no soups or bread. I asked the manager about regular simple bread, he said it’s ikea policy: no bread for breakfast. Bread comes with soup for lunch!!. I had ikea breakfast in other branches and had complete menus and different options with soup and bread.

The price is reasonable. Working hours is not updated. Most of the time, they don’t have bread, ketchup containers are empty. Breakfast portions are getting smaller and smaller. I talked to restaurant manager and she said it’s the same as other branches but it is not. I went to the other locations and I didn’t see these issues. Poor management. .

I think the thing you have to take into consideration with these places is the amazing prices for the food , you can eat pretty well for 7 to 8 dollars an item. Would I come here any time other then If I'm buying something at the store probably not, it gets very busy and crowded and we had to walk around a little to find a table that was clean . The staff is going an amazing job it's just a very busy place and I would think it's a lot to stay ahead of .
