Right at Home have supported me with visits to my special needs brother for a few years and have always shown understanding and compassion in the care for him with Brooke. More recently, my mother's health declined and I required full care for her until I was able to move her to a different facility. Adrienne was there to help me get started and the scheduling team; Brittany, Kelsey & Val pivoted with me as fast as changes were required and I really appreciated their support while trying to manage a moving target. Tina, Linda, Guylaine, Peggy and Sarah have and continue to provide great comfort and companionship to my mother. Thank you all!

I hired Right At Home for mandatory pickup and post surgical care for my hernia surgery in April, 2024 since I live alone in Collingwood. Tina was the first staffer and she facilitated my transit to and from the hospital. After picking me up after I was discharged, she took me right to the pharmacy to get my prescriptions filled. When we arrived at my home, she made sure that I was able to get around the house including the stairs safely. She offered to do tasks like preparing a meal and some light house cleaning as well.One of my incisions unfortunately started to bleed out but being the pro that Tina is, she got on the phone right away with the recovery room nurses at the hospital for recommended directions to manage this. We replaced the dressing and managed to stop the bleeding so I’m sure glad that she was there to help me through this complication.Later in the evening, Nicole came to replace Tina for the overnight shift. Nicole made sure that I got all my medications schedule on track and throughout the night made sure that I was okay over regular intervals. In the morning she accompanied me on a walk around the neighbourhood which was recommended in order to increase my circulation which helps speed up healing.Both Tina and Nicole were very professional, caring as well as totally delightful to talk to. I’m a newcomer to Collingwood while they both grew up in the local area so it was very insightful to learn more about the local history here.For any home health care services needed, I would totally recommend Right At Home.

We just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated the professional care and wonderful empathy that your caregivers gave to our father over the last few months of his life. Having both parents with Dementia I needed alot of solid support for my parents and Krista from the moment I met her, has been nothing short of incredible. She shares her own personal journey in caring for her Mother, the things she's learned, her education and years of experience navigating senior homes and watching a parent age. Krista is the most caring and kind hearted intelligent and professional person and I truly felt, is in our corner from the beginning. The amazing staff of psws are all carefully paired with the right person and Krista constantly is reviewing the schedule to make sure it continues to work. The psws love what they do and it shows. My parents enjoy the visits and creative care they bring with scrabble and walks or even a basic shower. They offer them continued dignity and joy. When things have gone sideways, they were the only really support I've had and would trust their care over and facility. It's worth every penny, the peace in knowing your loved ones are safe and sound with Right at home and Krista by your side!

Right at home was there when my mom and I needed them. My elderly mother broke her dominate arm and needed help daily with dressing, bathing, preparing meals etc. Krista quickly set up a schedule with her PSW’s that made it possible for my mom to stay in her home. 3 weeks after the first break my mom fell and broke her other arm. Again Krista quickly changed the schedule as my mom now needed more care. My mom found all the PSW’s caring and professional . She is going to miss them now that she is becoming independent again. We can’t say enough good things about this service, it made it possible for my mom to stay in her home and took a lot of pressure off of me from having to do all that was needed. THANK YOU!!!!!

I had a very good experience. The staff were very friendly and thecare planner went above and beyond when assisting our family. The response time was quick and the care planner was efficient in responding to emails, phone calls and paperwork. The family appreciated having help as they live a distance from Collingwood.

When my mother went blind almost three years ago Adrienne and company did an amazing job to help us with this difficult transition and supported her while she lived in Collingwood. With covid and isolation she moved with in with my sister. She comes here for regular visits, which can often be stressful with looking after her and working full time. When my sister planned a 2 1/2 week, well deserved vacation, I knew I would have to find some help. I went rogue, and hired a recommended independent care-giver. What a mistake!! What was I thinking!!?? I immediately called Right at Home and Brittany got on it right away. She had Michelle lined up that afternoon and she started 2 days later. From the moment Michelle arrived I felt relief and trust. She arrives with a smile and is so thoughtful and attentive to my mother. She takes her for walks, and also brings my little dog with them so everybody gets exercise, she makes lunch, chit chats, takes her for drives and running errands. I am able to get my work done without worrying and when I am finished my mother is happy after having a full afternoon with Michelle. I will never go rogue again and will make sure to call Right at Home, and of course request Michelle the next time my mother comes up. You were a lifesaver. Thank you so much!!

I knew this day would come, but put it out of my mind and did ZERO planning.So I was at a loss what to do after my Mom took a stroke last Thursday. She was very unhappy to leave her home and go to a long-term care facility, which didn't have any vacancies in any event.Fortunately, a friend highly recommended Right At Home on Saturday, and Adrienne was able to immediately mobilize a care team for a Monday discharge from the overloaded hospital.The Right at Home staff are very friendly, mature, empathetic and helpful. All forms of personal assistance are "in scope" with this team, from arranging blister packs at the pharmacy, to transportation to medical appointments to grocery purchase and meal preparation, to helpful tips on medical issues.I could not recommend them more highly!

I've been working for Right at Home for approximately 3 years and so that has given more then enough time to be able to give a full view of what it's like to work for them. What I really love about the company is that the office staff and management are awesome!! That's the beginning of being successful. They listen, are supportive, they accommodate my lifestyle. I prefer to work days and nights only. They are understanding and try very hard to provide me with the necessary shifts that I need to maintain my life. I get lots of hours and the hours that I've requested. Where else can you get that? I've worked in other jobs where the hours are set in stone, breaks are 15 minutes-your rushing to gulp down a coffee, it feels very oppressive and the tasks become very routine. I get to work with my residents, that I truly care for, and it's never the same thing day after day. I help with all aspects of care, take them on drives and outings, interact with families, i go to the retirement home and private homes where it's always a new setting. I sometimes get to partake in social activities that are apart of the retirement home, such as take a resident to a movie in the lounge area or listen to a jazz band. I've formed wonderful relationships with my residents and their family. I can tell that I make a difference in their lives. It's a job where you feel and know your needed. It's a truly rewarding and wonderful opportunity to work for Right at Home. Flexible hours, great work environment, supportive staff and best of all, wonderful residents that I truly enjoy to work with. Also, I have referred people to our great company and got a bonus of 200.00!! Being a part of Right at Home has changed my life for the better!!

Right at home has been wonderful to deal with since my father was involved in an accident and needed someone to come and assist with light housework and bathing. A BIG shout out to Nancy on the team. My father always looks forward to seeing her and she takes care of all the little details for him. This has also given me a great sense of relief knowing that there is a team out there such as Right at Home that cares so mush for people that need that special touch of assistance while still being able to stay in their own home. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Since enlisting the services of Right at Home Care our lives have improved in so many ways. My husband is receiving the personal care help he really needs from the most lovely, kind and efficient PSW, who also helps both of us by doing chores like laundry, meal prep and tidy up. She is so helpful, cheerful and positive. I highly recommend Right at Home Care!

We have used Right At Home services for the past year, for my elderly stepfather. His caregiver is very reliable, friendly and always leaves the kitchen spotless after cooking a meal. She also takes it upon herself to help out wherever needed. We would highly recommend Right at Home services. We are truly appreciative and grateful for all they do!

I want to thank the team for 'making things happen' - we called in our time of need, on Dec 23, right before the Christmas Holidays, and the team at Right at Home delivered. The scheduling team managed to scramble and provide the much needed support for my father (and the rest of the family!) over what is a very busy time for everyone. We really appreciated what you did and will not forget it.Thanks to Noelle, Helene, Shannon and Helen G. for doing what they do - they are the front line and delivered care to my father and put him and the family at ease. It takes a team - Brittany, Glenda and Kathy were part of scheduling the PSWs and I really appreciated how the team worked together to solve problems (mainly the schedule over Christmas). Impressive.
