Have to change my review. Store is never open on time, closes without an explanation sign on door, shelves are becoming bare.
Not sure whats going to happen to this store.
It's sad. As someone who grew up here it's a staple in our community.

Owned by the most lovely couple. They are so friendly and kind. They have a super good selection of snacks/drinks and a nice coffee bar area. My girlfriend and I's favourite variety store in town.

The owners are always friendly, willingly purchase items for the store and always treat my teenage son with kindness and show genuine interest in his life, as he regularly goes in to grabs essentials for the household. ❤️

The owners of East Side Variety are wonderful. They are very friendly and helpful. Everytime I go in there, I am greeted with a hello and a smile. They care about their community and people.

I bin going to east end variety for the last 7 years and I was very disappointed UNTIL new ownership. The new owners of East End Variety are absolutely wonderful people who care about there community and there Customers.

I don't know how this place has any positive reviews. The selection is weak, half their chocolate bars are expired, they won't even break change if you need it for the laundromat across the street, and when there are 24-hour stores open in the west and center, it just makes this store look that much worse. Their only benefit is being the only convenience store on the east end, and they win that by default.

Sounds weird but this place was one of my favorite places as a child.
The people who ran it were extremely nice!
