Walking down to the falls was fine, but the rest of the loop trail was pretty awful. There was a ton of trees down that blocked the path. The path was very difficult to find, not well marked with flags, and completely overgrown. This trail needs a lot of work to get it back to normal.

We parked at the sign and walked in, following suit of previous travelers, SO glad we did as gave us more time to enjoy nature.With moderate level trails, lots of beautiful moments its a good way to spend 1-3hours and something we will certainly return to.

Unfortunately, Gut Conservation Area is closed November 1-15, 2021 during hunting season. This was posted at the property entrance but not updated on Google.If the road to get there is any indication, the trail is probably gorgeous but I’ll have to wait until a future visit to find out.
