“This little LCBO is basic but it’s clean and central to downtown Cobourg, and you don’t have to deal with all the traffic in the other strip mall locations. I wish their hours were later but I still prefer it over the big busy ones.My only complaint is one staff that works there can’t be bothered to say hi, bye, or thanks when I’m checking out. I thought it was just me but my husband has had the same experience with this specific lady.Today (Nov 25, 2023) I was purchasing wine and the same staff member didn’t even acknowledge me. She talked the whole time to another customer who was in line behind me. Even after I said “thanks” she didn’t acknowledge me. Absolutely has no clue how to be customer focused. Too bad because everyone else at the store seems pleasant and helpful.”
“Unfortunately we are limited to where we can buy spirits bathe Liquor Licence Act since I have become aware of truly disgusting behaviour of some employees. If there were an alternative I would shop there. For the Union Members to picket an M.P.P.'s private home is truly disgusting and makes me worry about the integrity of those employees when handling my finances. Unions generally have my respect but this behavior below anything You should stand for. SHAME ON YOU.”
