I bought a battery 2 years ago with a 4 year warranty. Once it got cold out this winter my truck would no longer start, i boosted the truck it drives until i shut it off. My mechanic tells my i need a battery. I brought the battery in, they did a test, said it needed a charge, explained to them i had just finished charging it 24 hours but i understand protocol. They charge it, call me and i went to pick it up but instead of being 700+ cc amps its 600, which is satisfactory. 2 days later i got around to installing the battery ( it was in my house in the meantime) truck would not start without boost. Called canadian tire again, they talked to the GM who stated they cant replace the battery unless the machine tells them to. Going to buy one elsewhere, 10/10 do not recommend, im moving tomorrow and this has added a pile of undue stress to my situation, what good is warranty if you cant use it. 200 bucks out the window.

I purchased winter tires from here , but after installation, my car started vibrating . I took the car to mechanic and came to know that wheels were not balanced properly .

I love the Canadian tire has a variety of stuff at that place but they don't have a variety of candles which is very weird because they have everything of everything else but anyways Canadian Tire is a good store you may find a lot of stuff that's useful like for example swimming stuff and bike stuff and anything else you that you would need on a daily basis or something

My car tire sprung a leak in Garson last night. While dropping kids off from my sons birthday party Dec 6th Filled it at the Esso in Garson and it was almost completely flat by the time I got to Lasalle Canadian tire location There was 15 minutes before closing. While waiting to see if it could be done the attendant was very helpful. He topped up the tire again so it wouldn’t go flat while we waited. I had my son and wife with me, and we live in Chelmsford. The manager on duty came out and basically told us the store was closed and come back tomorrow. All I wanted was a plug in the tire so we wouldn’t be stranded. But the manager just blew us off. long story short cost me $500 to have my car towed to my mechanic that night. And transportation arranged to get us back to Chelmsford. Thank you, Canadian Tire for your amazing customer service once again **NOT** made my son’s birthday very memorable Merry Christmas.

If you re going to lock the bathrooms for customers, dont understaff your store. Im not waiting in line to ask to use the bathroom.... perhaps it was the lack of adequate staff to ensure the bathrooms werent being abused that caused the problem in the first place. At this rate, customers will have to bring their own portapotty with them to go to public places. What.a. joke.
The staff are always hardworking and courteous... but i cant seem to stop the incessant emails after every purchase at a canadian tire. I thought id take the survey to give my opinion, but the survey wasnt interested in my opinion.. just to make me answer yes and no questions about whether or not the staff offered me additional products to buy.
I want to make myself clear, I DO NOT WANT TO BE UPSOLD. A majority of products on shelves everywhere in this country is garbage made in china. Alot of which now comes with mismatched pieces. I have had to jerry rig products from my own supplies often in the last 2 years. If you are training your staff to upsell me unneccesary crap, I will cause a scene in one of your stores.

Marc at the Auto Service desk is my saviour! I ended up with a flat tire and a leaky tire on a road trip. After being absolutely drenched, changing it in the rain and getting to Canadian Tire, they advised they had my tires in stock but were booked up for the day. After I explained my horrible day and how I desperately needed new tires put on, the man gave me the warmest smile and said he’d squeeze me in. After buying some dry socks and waiting only an hour, I was all set and ready to hit to road again. His reminder to have my tires tightened at 100km felt like a dad telling you have fun and be safe. I can’t say enough kind things about my experience! Thank you!! 🙏🏻
I’m also adding that my tires were on sale! Haha BONUS! 🙏🏻

Went twice inn a row and was left in the dark no service. When one finally came out he knew nothing about the rifle products he was selling. In mid sale he took off and didn't come back . Guess he didn't want to make a $1,600 sale on the henry rifle I wanted.

Was 5 star, but now forget it. Find Chelmsford Canadian tire wants you to deal with any defective equipment you buy. No returns, you need to deal with the manufacturer yourself. So spend hundreds find out that the equipment is defective and now spend money on shipping and wait months to hear back absolute bullshit. No issues with other Canadian tire centers yet.
