A great store to go shopping. The store is conveniently located and the prices are generally pretty good. Floors could need a good cleaning to remove the arrows on the isles, nobody never uses them anymore.

I've been shopping at Giant Tiger, on and off, for three decades. The high cost of food has hit such a level that I now consider Giant Tiger as one of my First Stops. The grocery section of the GT Carleton Place store continues to improve in a remarkable way ! They carry many Canadian products that are not available at other stores. Their VIP senior shopping plan is a huge bonus !!! The staff, as reported by other posters, is pretty special and treats customers efficiently and with genuine courtesy.

Although the store looked well kept and is probably a great store, my low review is due to someone not providing accurate information on a specific item I was looking for, in a specific size. I do not live in Carleton Place, so before driving to this location I needed to make sure the product/size was there. When I got there they did not have it. So, I wasted my time and gas. Not impressed. Clearly the employee did not actually go and check what was on the rack.

Nice store, well laid out and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One of the first stores we go to when we need something. Can't beat some of those prices .
