Some of the staff here are nice. There is no music in the entire store upstairs or downstairs. I like to hear something while I am shopping ?. The escalators do not work, so you are forced to go up the elevator and when I do use the elevator, so many times I almost walk into people who are coming out of the elevator when upstairs. The doors to the elevator open, and it appears that there is no one in there, then out of nowhere, someone walks out.
Upstairs needs some kind of organization on one side (where there are a bunch of clothes). Some of the staff on the upper level are not friendly. I was not asked if I needed help on some of the days that I went up there... and I actually did need help. A couple of times, someone walked right past me.

It had been a while since I stepped into a Hudson's Bay. Air conditioning doesn't work as it should, very limited stock, expensive and the top floor is supposed to be a Zeller's, but it looks like a Winners or Marshalls with racks and racks of random clothes.
The escalators/stairs to the second floor don't work, so the elevator has to be used. There is only 1 elevator.
The AC on the top floor is non-existent and when I was up there the single elevator failed. They refused to let us walk down the non-functioning escalators and guided everyone on the top floor to the cargo elevator in the back storage area to go down one floor.
I will say the staff was very courteous, helpful and professional. Pity they are made to work under these conditions.

There's a Zellers on the second floor as well. It's your typical Hudson's Bay store with ample brands and Bay branded products. The 2nd floor has a fair selection of Zeller branded toys and shirts as well.
Sadly, there is no Zellers food court. Also, the escalators are closed, so you must use the elevator to go up and done.
Lastly, the store is super clean and the people working there are friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the escalators are down, so it's a little inconvenient to use the elevator. Pricing is consistently good there in general.

Just had the most horrific experience here. RUDE, unhelpful staff. I went to return a pair of shoes bought online (which have to be returned to a store -- so DON'T bother to buy online, because if it doesn't work out you still have to go there).
After driving 40 minutes to the nearest store, I was met with rude and unhelpful employees, who told me to call a 1-800 number! In the end I was given no receipt, and told to just expect to get a refund card in the mail at some point? With no way to track it.
It's easy to understand why this company is going out of business. You would be a fool to spend a dollar here. And to whoever is checking this review, don't bother with your standard "connect with us on social media" garbage. Broken company. Google really needs a "0 star" option for this one.
