I happened to come to the area that this store is in after an appointment at Cambridge Memorial. I thought I’ll stop and check out the area. I pulled up in front of the store because I saw some parking spots there, and there was someone in front of me that parked as well.I wasn’t feeling well after having come from a test at the hospital, and the sun was in my eyes and visibility was poor because of the sun. I saw lines marked off around the front and back of my car. I saw a sign that said two hour parking so thought that it was OK. I went into the store across the street and someone came in from this pet store and read me the riot act for blocking a driveway alongside this pet store.Clearly, the person saw me get out of my car but said nothing to me then, because when she came into the store that I was in, she came straight over to me and she asked me if I was the one who parked in that spot and was driving a specific vehicle.When I realized what it happened, that I wasn’t familiar with the area, that I thought it was a parking spot because of some lines marked at the front and back of my van, and the fact that the sun was in my eyes. I immediately realized I had made an error and apologized for profusely.The person from this pet store continued to treat me terribly in front of everyone in the other store that I was in, and was very public with her voice and comments and tone. I tried to explain to her what it happened, but she was practically shouting at me, and taking out on me the fact that multiple people do this.I can understand that she could be frustrated because many people are doing it. I can understand why it is happening, as I find even in hindsight that it’s not very clearly marked, and the driveway is not significantly visible at that time of day with the sun in your eyes. What I cannot understand, is how someone can be so rude and mean spirited when a person has apologized the way I did.I don’t know if she was having a bad day, and I was just the last straw, but I didn’t deserve to be spoken to the way she spoke to me, especially after an apology, and the fact that she went on and on about it while we walked across the street together making the whole situation incredibly public and humiliating makes me never want to shop in this store.The bottom line is, while there are markings on the road, it is not adequately identified —there is a vacant lot beside the building, so it appears as though when the building ends there’s nothing else there. So one would not expect a driveway unless you were specifically looking and you might think it’s just a walkway to get behind the building . I think this business should contact the city or maybe put up some no parking stanchions on either side of their driveway so that it’s more visible.It was an honest mistake and she turned it into a horrible event. Nobody deserves to be spoken to like that I don’t care how many people have done it in the past, this just goes to show that it’s a bigger problem. It’s not clear, and they need better signage to clarify things. Work it out with the city of Cambridge, don’t take it out on the people who shop here. And especially don’t dump on one person for all the others who have made the same mistake. Look at the bigger picture with so many making the same mistake, it’s obvious that someone has to do something differently and it’s not the shoppers.

Wonderful people and they know their stuff. Our dog got an ear infection and we could not see the vet till Tuesday. I went in and after one sentence she gave me a bottle and told me it would work so well we may not even need a vet. She was right three days later the vet was happy with how her ear looked and said keep it up for a few days. So Happy a friend recommended these careing people and I recommended them for your pets needs

Amazing local pet food store with great quality products. Staff were super knowledgeable and gave us some samples for our picky dog to try. We were able to find a food that worked and they offer home delivery ! We will be loyal customers to this amazing store. Thanks again for all your help.

Friendly, welcoming store with knowledgeable staff. Always stocked with the dog food we prefer. Easy to shop & they offer curbside or local delivery to your door!
