Firstly let me start this off by saying the owner Jeremy is one hell of a guy. I went into Forbes maybe 2 weeks ago to ask some questions as I’m getting into building and painting Gundams. He answered all my questions some of my questions were stupid but he still answered them. I got all I needed and left that day super excited. I have been back wayyyy more than I like to admit but it’s because I learn and ask questions and Jeremy loves to share his knowledge with people. He even offered for me to bring my kit and airbrush to show me some techniques and ideas on how to paint that I would never have thought of. I love supporting small business owners as I am one myself. I don’t care if I can get my thinner for 2$ less on Amazon I get way more knowledge then the 2$ cost me.An example of his kindness is I bought an airbrush last week and I bent the needle 3 day into owning it 100% on me. So I went in and got a new one on Sunday he offered to install it for me but I said i got it. Well I went home and I don’t know what went wrong but it was my fault. I had no paint coming out but had air pressure and air coming out of the fill cup. So I went back in tonight with my airbrush. He took it apart and looked it over. He was at it for 30-40 minutes but he fixed it. Turned out it was a seal that I must have chewed up with the threads. Only charged me for the seal. He told me you bought it here it’s only right that I help you fix it.I will definitely be coming back for everything I need! Hope the store is back up to 100% as soon as the flood stuff is taken sorted out.

One of the first "Hobby shops" I visited when I was just getting started. That was their old location and I've followed them here, even if I don't visit often enough to be called a regular. The selection is great and the prices are fair. The pair behind the counter are knowledgeable and willing to offer advice where they can. The only "Gripe" I have with this shop is that the owner has a very dry sense of humour, which some folks might find a little off putting. I know myself and my friends will always have a good laugh about whatever conversation one of us had when we leave.

The staff is great and very informative. The owner is extremely funny and makes you feel welcome even if you're new to a hobby.

Great store coupled with a friendly staff. Well stocked with most model and paint needs. Great location with an ease of parking, even on a Saturday!

This is a great hobby store. I've been coming for years to get all my hobby needs.The only real gripe I have with this place is when I started out making scale models, I asked a gentleman at the desk how he recommends putting decals on and his response was sort of condescending in his answer. He did however help me with my question.Either than my issue with the question I asked all my other visits have been pleasant. I will continue to support in-town hobby stores such as Forbes!

I found this place to be exceptionally friendly and the owner is super chill. They hosted a tournament drafting very old sets, with prizes for everyone. Some of these were mega expensive (looked like they spent much more on prizes than they made in revenue even). Genuinely seems to care about you having a good time.

Great place to play Magic, 40k, Age Of Sigmar, Battletech, Bolt Action, Star Wars, and a HUGE selection of paints and models for gaming or modeling, Friendly helpful staff, (but you also have to be polite), gREAT PLACE TO GAME, NICE ATMOSPHERE, SUPPORTIVE PLAYERS!

Hi there, haven't been to your store yet, however, just by reading the reviews, I have had myself a right laugh! Many people may find your method of ownership rude or sassy but as long as I get what I need, I don't mind what you say. I intend on visiting soon for a look at some military models and hope to find something of interest to me. But for right now, I'll keep entertaining myself with these reviews! See you in person soon.

Ive been a regular at Forbes for close to a decade now. The community has always been exceptional and the owner Jeremy and I have become close friends. One of my closest friends I made from the time I spent at Forbes playing games and hanging out with the people who make the store what it is. We've had April fools tournaments, food bank game nights, private thank you events, BBQs, you name it, Forbes has done it to keep the community strong.Jeremy and Megan have a huge breadth of knowledge regarding a wide scope of hobbies and love talking with people about their passions. It doesn't matter if you're new to a hobby or a seasoned veteran there's people there to help, share and discuss any and everything that you enjoy and show you other things you may be interested in.You won't find a better place to escape for a few minutes to a few hours playing games, painting, building or just spending time with like minded people.

My favourite go-to place for MTG cards and a good day out. Jeremy and Meagan have such a thorough and rich knowledge on anything in the store you can think of, and it's such an amazing community spot to play cards, games, or even just get supplies. 10/10 will always shop again
