My daughter does her co-op here and they treat my daughter so well. She's autistic and working here has helped her self-confidence so much. I just want to thank her coworkers and bosses. Thank you for treating her like everyone else. ?

Very fair prices, excellent service, and a very convenient location. I’ve always had great experiences with the staff here, and I often go and get party balloons. They have a great selection of cards, and a huge selection of balloons. Great place to stop before heading to an event or birthday.

Can't believe I was treated the way I was yesterday in this stire.. For the past 4 years this I spend about a $1000 for a charity in one order. Placed a curb side order, came in a few days later to pick it up. The order was not made. No phone call telling me this. When speaking to assistant manager who took my order why a phone call was not made she said it was not her responsibility to call me. As I was discussing with the assistant manager that this is bad business a employee stepped in and said well we're busy. Not impressed, I will not be spending this kind of money yearly at this place any more. DM

Won't be returning to this store. Was treated very rudely by a male cashier. Heavy-set lad with shoulder length brown hair. Made no attempt at eye contact or friendliness. I'll take my business to the Hespeler Road Dollar Tree instead.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Love this store for the great finds. YouTubes’s “doitonadime” Kathryn gives great suggestions and tries things out before she recommends them.

I love Dollar Tree. I noticed this store a few weeks ago while getting some groceries from Zehrs next door and flagged it. Last Saturday, my original intent was to hit Zehrs to get a few items. I needed white vinegar and tomatoes. I was surprised to see something like thirty people in a lineup to get into the store. A woman with her two kids took one look at the lineup and headed back to their car, saying, "Let's go to Shoppers Drug Mart to get milk." Since this pandemic, more folks are hitting convenience-type stores where basics, such as milk and bread, are offered. The idea is to get basic food staples that you need without hitting a full-blown grocery store. I wasn't in a rush, and decided to walk over and join the Zehrs lineup. However, the end of this lineup was a few steps from Dollar Tree. My mindset shifted, as I could do with a can of diced tomatoes and a bottle of white vinegar instead. I ditched Zehrs for Dollar Tree. Since lockdown 3.0 started, I have not been in a dollar store. It's kind of sad to see aisles blocked off because they aren't considered essential items. I am frankly unclear about the delineation between essential and non-essential items when I visit these stores. I have seen plants available for purchase, but not socks. Are plants deemed essential because you get the carbon dioxide-oxygen exchange between humans and plants, so we all thrive and continue to breathe? I'm thinking that if it's 6°C and you don't have any socks that they are considered essential to keep you warm as a human. What do I know, though? I'm confused. I ended up getting a small jug of white vinegar. I also got a large can of diced tomatoes. There weren't any plain ones. Instead, I got ones with herbs and spices. I used them to make stuffed peppers and the diced tomatoes worked out well. I am always happy with the selection of dry herbs and spices at Dollar Tree. The selection here was great. I didn't need any, but looking at everything while I was in that aisle felt normal. There were markers, pens, and stationery that were available. I didn't mind looking at them. I needed Crayola markers with fine tips, which were geared towards adults. It was sad to recently learn that pretty much all my markers at home were dead. I also saw a six-colour llama pen that I liked a lot. I found Alokozay teas at this store. I am looking forward to giving the strawberry a try. I have been drinking the blackcurrant variety for years, which is one of my favourite brands. I am also a huge fan of all things blackcurrant, which explains my love for Ribena. I went to line up. There was a woman buying cases of glassware. The woman cashing her out suggested that I try the other one where the man just came back from a break. I headed over there and he was pleasant. I paid for my items with a debit card and thanked him. I brought a bag, so I didn't splurge getting a plastic one. There is plenty of parking in front of Dollar Tree in this plaza. I was parked closer to the Zehrs main entrance, so I took a nice walk to my car, looking at the crazy lineup that still existed there at Zehrs. My guess is that I would have still been in the lineup had I not dropped by Dollar Tree. I'd come back to this Dollar Tree for nonperishable goods and llama pens. Here's hoping that when this lockdown is lifted and things are safe that I can check out the blocked-off aisles. (194)
