Growing up in a small town and moving to the tri-cities In 1998, I had forgotten the "customer is #1" and matters feel. The staff here are AMAZING at providing service and keeping the customer satisfied and informed if any questions. As long as this store is open..I'm a loyal repeat customer for all my work and personal needs.

I made the online purchase because Lowe's, Canadian Tire, Home Depot had snow blowers however, the one I wanted was either not available for shipping or out of stock. Home Hardware had the one I wanted and as a bonus it was on sale. Order placed and I received a call within an hour advising I could pick it up. Went to the store on the Saturday. They had the box on a forklift remembered we spoke and advised me where I needed to move the car to have the box placed in. Wouldn't let me help they loaded. Went inside was provided the receipt and they thanked me for buying from them. That type of service from start to finish would never occur at Lowe's, Home Depot or Canadian Tire. At those locations you are met with employees who hate their job and take it out on customers. Employees who cannot locate an online order or make you wait an hour or more when you arrive at the pickup time they provide. That is only if there is a store close to you that actually has a sale item. Typically, nothing is available in Guelph where I live or Cambridge or KW it's usually Kingston or Ottawa that has stock. Home Hardware does it so much better. The location I bought the snow blower at didn't have the gas can I wanted on the way home I checked and the one in Guelph did have it. Upon entering I asked where they were and one of the employees told me the aisle and spot where they were and then as I walked past them with it ensured I found it. I have to say I was speechless because I am so used to from the other retailers hearing I don't know, I don't think we have any or not my department. For this purchase the words we won't, we cannot, I don't know or it's not my department were not spoken. A completely different and welcome change from the others.
