Service is excellent and they have some of the best sales.Staff are very helpful and friendly.The store is very organized and aisles are very accessible for people who use wheelchairs/scooters.

I purchased online a bathroom vaniety from this hardware store.I paid over 800.00 for it .unfortunately we cut the box downward at one side and found out it would not fit.It was too big.Not one home hardware in St. Catharines (I'm from Thorold) would accept it back because the box was cut and they said the company would not give them the money for it even though it wasn't taken out of the box and all pieces were there no damage to the item just box was cut and taped.Apparently in another home hardware I called they said they gave a person their money back for a large item they purchased online the box was cut open taped and the company would not give the hardware store back their money,that they still had the item in their store after a year and no one had purchased it yet.i had a friend of mine put it on a blanket and slide it in my car I can't do it I have been having chemo and too tired, weak and not allowed to lift.i drove one hour to Caledonia from Thorold they took it and informed me the company would not take it if the box is damaged.They said they'd call me and took the vaniety Said their manager would have to call the company and call me back. They called after one week and said they are not giving me the money back for the item I gave them. They want me too call, I assume and discuss what to do with it. I'm calling Mastercard in the morning as I don't see it on my statement and see if they can cancel it that way.Did anyone else have a problem similar to this and what did you do? Any suggestions? I won't be shopping online or at home hardware period. I hope you read this incase your planning on buying from them.thanks.Debbie O'Leary

This has to be the most disrespectful staff I have ever met...just because one had tattoos does not mean he is going to steal and to have someone follow me around a store and making hand motions "like watch him with the 2 fingers to eyes like I'm some robber" come on people have some respect for everyone some of us chose to look this way and are not what u think.....I was thought as a child not to read a book by covet......so I will never attend this store again

Not a good store...they need to improve the layout and have more items in stock....I think , it must be almost imposible to finish any home repair or enhancement project if one would have to rely only on this home hardware store...Just not good enough!!!!

Went there today to look for some special fasteners for hollow walls. I was asked by a staff member if she could help and took the time to direct me to the right spot and looked with me. Another staff member assisted as well. It was sure a very good experience compared to the "other guys". Good old fashioned customer service will keep me coming back. The store was large and had everything plus it is Canadian. Thank-you
