Loved The City View Inn! The management team is outstanding, and the view from the hotel is just breathtaking. You're absolutely right, the name is spot on because you can see the beautiful city scenery right from the front of the hotel. It's amazing!And let me tell you about the staff! They are incredibly well-trained and know how to handle any situation that comes their way. Plus, they're so polite and helpful. It's a pleasure to interact with them.We had a great experience installing the CCTV camera with a Camsonics security camera expert at the hotel. And having a good talk with the owner is always a bonus! It's wonderful when people in charge are friendly and accommodating.I completely agree that The City View Inn is the best motel to stay with family, friends, or loved ones. It's a perfect place for creating beautiful memories. It was perfect for what my husband and I needed. We were guests at a wedding at the royal botanical gardens. Location less than 5 mins away (driving). Hotel was very clean, comfortable, shower & bathroom was great. We will stay again if we are in the area.

My stay was great! Very friendly and professional team. The room was amazing, clean, and fresh! Based on my experience this motel is underrated, I highly recommend this place and I’m definitely coming back.Rooms: Newly renovated, very clean and cozy!

The hospitality of this place is great, the rooms are clean, and there was even a breakfast included! Better than some hotels I've been to, so absolutely fabulous.

This place is so clean and updated! I needed a quick place for me and my pup, they had a room designated for animals, though I wish it was more near the grass instead of walking them around the property. The best part? NO CARPETS! though you don't get much of a city view due to the overgrowth from off the property (not their fault) this is a wonderful place to stay + you're minutes away from an iconic diner (Easterbrook's) and some wonderful trails! (Cherry Hill, Valley Inn Trails)! As well as the Royal Botanical Gardens. Perfect place to stay when you're in a pinch.

I travel a lot for work and this has been one of the best if not the best motel experience I’ve had. I was super late for my check in due to work and the staff was super accommodating. The rooms are super clean and nice, and recently renovated. The lobby is great and just the overall experience has been great. The breakfast is great too. Will be coming back

Stayed 6 nights recently for work. Great location. Great staff. Worked nights and thought I’d have no room cleaning during my stay. I was wrong! Tara made sure of it ! I went to pick up some supplies and returned an hour later to my surprise the room was spotless. Can’t say enough. Clean rooms , excellent beds and linens. And great wifi and tv. This place exceeded my expectations. And btw cancelling a few nights early because of my work situation was no issue. Won’t think twice on returning. Thank you all.

Surprisingly clean room, but not easy to access someone to get a room service. I took off one star because pillows were horribly uncomfortable.

Great spot with clean updated rooms and a super cool lounge/lobby area with a great view overlooking Hamilton. I posted up here to do work into the evening with free coffee and tea!You won’t find anything better at this price.Staff and owner are all lovely as well!

Looking for a location between Toronto and Niagara Falls, this little motel fit the bill. Just off the highway in Burlington.Family that runs the place was super nice. Rooms were a little dated but clean and functional. It's near the highway so there is a little road noise at night but not enough to bother us.Nearby activities: A short ride from Niagara Falls or TorontoFood & drinks: Breakfast foods available

First, I would like to say if you are deciding to stay based on the reviews please don't read Tripadvisor reviews ONLY as they are outdated.I stayed at this motel in April 2023 initially with my son. when I walked into the reception area I felt like I was home. Something about the art wall made me feel at peace. Also the reception had a little guest lounge with sofas, board games, kitchenette .I got to meet Kathy, very friendly staff member (works reception) who was so helpful. She had me in my room 2 hours before the time with the approval of the owner of course!The next morning we ate breakfast; (breakfast is included) cereal, danishes, juice boxes for kids, coffee, tea fruit...the most ideal options.Only thing missing is bagel n butter. Besides that the owners made me feel at home, told me to help myself to the food items in the fridge for my son.The rooms I stayed in were clean, I switched from a one bed to two beds when my husband joined us. The beds were comfortable and the pillows are really soft, almost to soft for me, but it's a personal preference. The rooms had a Fridge, microwave, a convenient little counter to store food, no coffee maker but has plastic cups for pop or juice when you buy. You have access to the fire-pit to bbq. there is also campsite area around the fire-pit with chairs located in front of a pond you can just sit n enjoy.. Anyways the washrooms clean supplied with the amenities, towel, hand towel, face cloths, small bar soaps etc. They've upgraded the shampoo option..no longer in plastic bags (according to an old review).The View was superb! Just beautiful. Overlooking the Hamilton/Burlington.They have cameras in front of the reception which hopefully capture the entire parking lot and rooms. They have free parking. They have designated smoking areas.I got the pleasure of meeting the owner Omkar and his wife Tara and they are just the nicest, friendliest & respectful people. They embraced us with such grace and I'm happy I decided to visit the Cityview Inn. Omkar thank you for your generosity and your kindness. Thank you both for a safe and comfortable stay.I would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and enjoy the quietness.- Talina

Always a friendly welcome from owners and staff. Bedrooms and common areas are very clean and welcoming. The outdoor fire pit and smoking areas are well maintained and inviting. Perfect location that is close to a great variety of activities, with easy on/off highway access. Always a very pleasant stay!
