I am reviewing this store for a client whom I accompany to this location within the past year. These are her comments: I have been coming here for 30 years. For outdoor products such as trees, perennial, annual flowers, service was great. Since moving to a condo in Burlington 6 years ago, where I take on the role of tending to the flower arrangements in the building foyers. I have noticed a real change in customer service, especially the cashiers. It appears they don’t want to dress or foil the blooming plants and in this past experience, with explanations it was an absolute “we don’t do that”. I explained that this is for the front entrance and that a pot priced with dirt on it is not acceptable for indoors on tables. The cashier manager who was serving us had no empathy for the situation and in fact talked over me, she appeared happy that I cancelled the plants. The orchids I purchased for $90, were handled not appropriately with me having to request a softer wrap, and the wrap she chose were crushing my orchids. Very disappointed as I have been a regular client at this location for many years, and from specifically the last couple experiences going there I have been treated poorly by the cashiers and even with disrespect. Great store if you need items. Unique succulents (My favorite) The providers are using some neat cloning techniques ?Reason for the three star is pest wise.Every plant I've bought from here needed to be treated for Western Flower Thrips after the eggs hatched - This is one of the worst pests to have and almost always kills the plant. Every plant bought was quarantined for two weeks for monitoring. The eggs hatched during this time.Very aggressive insect caused by using poor providers but amplified through horticultural control methods used at this store. They don't have access to the pesticides needed and the spray used doesn't target the eggs inside the leaf. Eggs are layed in the leaf layers, hence need for some really strong chemicals not available for a greenhouse like here. They definitely know they are there, and spray anything hatched using the same methods which creates a immunity that sucked to beat. But I did, so three stars you get.Not saying don't buy here. Just saying to quarantine any plant you do buy and be prepared to fight some bugs.

Customer service sucks. I’ve been to terra about 6 times in the last two years and literally every time I’ve had snarky responses or curt treatment, all from mid life ladies working there. To very simple enquiries. One time I was aggressively told I could not pay at customer service but I was only beside it reading a label. What about politely asking first? Also, forget returning things—worst return policy ever. This is why I avoid the place unless I absolutely can’t find aN item elsewhere.

Relaxing wander around a beautiful store. The gift section is very nice. Bought an orchid for half price. Would recommend.

Be sure to order a minimum 1 week in advance of when you need items. It isn't posted anywhere on their website. Mother's Day was ruined because ordering 4 days ahead wasn't enough time for them to grab 1 thing off their shelves.
