Back To The Bone Inc - Raw Natural Food for Your Healthy Dogs & Cats
495 Walkers Line, BurlingtonI can’t recommend Back to the Bone highly enough. At the end of 2021 we were bringing home a puppy for the first time in 13 years. Although we had previously raw fed our dogs, I was nervous starting a puppy on raw. Dan and his wonderful staff eased my fears and got us started on Raw Performance.Sam is now a thriving 17 month old, 70 lb German Shorthaired Pointer. In addition, the folks at Back to the Bone have helped when I had all sorts of questions and fears. We drive from Brampton to go to Back to the Bone because I am proud to support this business. You should too.

Downtown Pet Shop
398 Martha St, BurlingtonThis place is amazing; the owner Michelle is so kind. She has been helping me with my senior dog who has been going through chemo and we recently thought we were going to lose our dog so we brought her in to get some special treats and Michelle was so kind and gave my dog some treats on the house. She is very knowledgeable and very informative. She has been able to help my dog get through chemo with no side affects and is still such a happy dog. You can tell how much Michelle truly loves dogs.

Bone & Biscuit Burlington North
3061 Walkers Line, BurlingtonWe fell in love with this dog toy that our friend had. It was a cow that had a squeaker that made an oinking sound. She let us know that it was from Bone and Biscuit. I don't see a lot of these around the city but they seem to have more in the west end. This store was impeccably clean and well organized. The lady saw us admiring the cow toy and let us know that it also came in a sheep as well. They have an extensive selection of premium dog food in dry, wet, and raw food forms! Almost the entire back of the store is a refrigerated case. There are prepared foods that are cooked and uncooked ones. They had bags of just individual parts so you can mix and match, like quail eggs and chicken feet. Everything looked really clean, moreso than most grocery stores lol. They also have a case of really nicely iced baked goods. Some are birthday and some are just for the season. There were summer ones including really cute squirrels and crabs, almost like the really nice iced cookies you see at Starbucks! They also had other doggy party supplies like hats, bandanas, and bow ties with cute prints.

Burlington Dog Grooming
450 Appleby Line, BurlingtonWe just had our first bath with Katherine and she was great! We have a pretty nervous, senior lab who had knee surgery a year ago so she needs a little extra time/help. From the moment we arrived, Katherine was patient and kind, and took it at our pup’s pace. At pickup, our girl was full of happy tail wags, and she looked and smelled great. Katherine did a great job — we will certainly be back! If you are nervous about trying a new groomer, you can absolutely trust Katherine.

Pet Care
Aldershot Animal Hospital
475 Enfield Rd, BurlingtonThe kindest staff and the best veterinarians I’ve met, the entire staff even had signed a condolences card when we had to put our baby to sleep, I even tear up now thinking about it. I’d recommend this place to anyone with a cat that is nervous at the vet, or anyone with a first time pet as well as the staff are very very understanding and explain everything to you in detail.

A few years back Dr Will McLean caught a life-threatening condition in my beloved dog, and it is thanks to him and the whole team at MacKays that we recently celebrated her 10th birthday!
I have nothing but positive things to say about the entire staff at MacKays, they all are super lovely and caring, and I couldn't recommend them more.

Brant Animal Clinic
2201 Brant St, BurlingtonI have been to this clinic twice now, once for each of my new kittens for routine vaccinations and for one to have his ears checked. The staff here were all super friendly, but I did find the visits a bit expensive and a bit of pressure to do more testing, but more things.

Lakeshore Ice cream and coffee house
2007 Lakeshore Rd., BurlingtonPlease turn the music down ? I would like to stay longer and get more treats but it sounds like a dance club in here some days. It's quite obnoxious... food and service is good, just the atomosphere has my wife and I leaving quicker. Turn it down.
Everyone who works here is nice, especially the girl at the counter today (Sep. 28). Thanks for being open on a wet cloudy day.
It's really cozy ? the coffee is also just right, not burnt, not weak, just right. The two girls working there Sep. 10 were attentive and polite. Look forward to coming back with my wife more often.
