5 stars for the employee David in paint, who went out of his way to look for 2 items Rona showed in stock. 1 star for the store who has hundreds of these items showing in stock and none of them were in stock - same thing happened in the summer but without the helpful employee. My first time back to shop since and no stock again. Rona was great until it moved to the lowes store, so disappointing.
Update - same blah blah blah reply from Rona as everyone else’s comments- too bad they don’t make changes - in the summer I wandered around for 10 minutes before finding a staff person- left and spent hundreds at Canadian Tire instead.

Dear Señor El Camino at the Burlington Store?
Remember a guy on the phone asking about water softener installs just this morning? You brushed me off rudely and told me your store doesn't do installations for water softeners? Your tone - I remember verbatim ..."Are we going to play by your rules or are we going to play by MY rules?". My rules buddy. I'm the customer. And this time, I'm right.
Please allow me to introduce myself? My name is Ottavio Rubini and I worked at the Milton store (3327), the Mississauga store (3162) and the now-defunct North Etobicoke location (2951) as a Sales Specialist. I was let go by the Milton store just last month when they eliminated all permanent part-time positions. Claire? Your colleague? Her dad was my Store Manager. Small world, 'huh?
And do you know what? Rona+ DOES water softener installs. I've sold dozens and dozens of them, my friend. Right here at the Milton location - (8)3327. You might wanna consult your Installs binder found at Fashion Plumbing or in the Appliances Departments.
I found myself at your store because, naturally, 83327 Milton did not stock the Whirlpool 33K grain water softener - item 501935...and your store stocked two of them.
Next time watch your tone of voice and your phone etiquette - you may be talking to someone that knows more about how Rona+ does business than you obviously ever will. It was my job, after all.
No longer an employee after twelve years, I'm now a customer...and WE supplement your wages.
'Hoping management speaks to you. Merry Christmas.

No cashier anywhere to be seen 8:12 am. I'm not an employee who gets paid by the store. I shouldn't have to checkout my own items. Bu££$4!+

I recently did some renovation in my home and decided to use this location for most of the stuff needed. The main reason was the plumbing guy in this location, he was (Andrew if I am not wrong was his name ) so helpful, knowledgeable and polite. He explained and told me exactly what I needed. Nothing compared to Home depo wich I went before.
He went beyond and above to help me get the right things.
I recommend anyone to use this location, especially for plumbing.

As usual this Rona branch with the same old staff of Lowes with the same manager Rob who as always has the worst customer service since I'm getting my construction stuff sometimes when close to this branch, although I'm always avoid dealing with people there as they are complete worse than any other Rona branches I am dealing with in Oakville and Mississauga.
I have my 2 charge account, always use for years, today, un experiences woman did first purchase in one account after 20min of waiting, then the second purchase under my other account , she said I have to come up with a physical purchase order which never happened to be asked for. As usual she gets scrambled and does not know anything, although I knew w her face since Lowes, where she has no experience , then she calls another guy named Rob, the store manager, asks for ID, he got it and all okay but he said he cannot do any purchase because of something smelly, I asked him, okay do the purchase order, his smelly answer is he does not what is that..
This branch is as always terrible of non experienced people been hired including that manager.
Among 3 other branches I'm always go to in Oakville, Mississauga and Hamilton, we always have people in a different world in this branch

This location is the worst since it was changed from Lowe’s to Rona. I came into the store twice this weekend and had to leave and go to Canadian Tire. The last time was at 5:30 pm on Sunday and there was no sales associate on the floor from paint section all the way through the front customer service desk. Save yourself the time and aggravation … shop Home Depot or Canadian Tire! Unless you feel like doing laps around the store to find anything then knock yourself out! So poorly organized. Shut it down.

I've rated this Rona before. Most recently when I tried to order a Kohler Memoirs toilet and a Turin Catane shower base I was sent away by the staff as they said it was easier for them if I just ordered it myself online. So I bought the toilet at the home depot on the way home.
When I tried to order the shower base, it was out of stock online. So I bought the exact one at the home depot. It arrived in 72 hours.
Do you even sell products? I can't see any reason to go into your store again. I'm sure I'll get some blah blah blah about how you're sorry and that you'll share your experience with your associates but I really should just send you an invoice for my time.

Stood around the bathroom vanity section for 20 minutes, no staff made eye contact. Then told to see someone in appliances, went there and waited 5 min then told he doesn't deal with plumbing. He paged overhead for a specific staff member to plumbing. No one showed up for 10 min. Asked someone else and they said there "probably " isn't anyone here and I should have made an appointment. There were at least 6 staff visible the whole time and no one could help. Eventually the person who works this section appeared and was not helpful. I want to vanity and will order it online and never go to this store again.

I've left that store empty handed 4 of the 5 times I've been there. Most recently, I went there to order a Kohler memoirs toilet and a shower base. After the usual run around to get someone to place the order, eventually an employee told me "it would be easier for him if we went back home and just ordered it online". I had the barcodes for each product.
So I left, and bought it on the way home at the home depot on wyecroft. It arrived 2 days later.
Hopefully you go out of business soon, and a good store moves in.

Call to check stock on a building product and got bounced around for 15 minutes sitting on hold and then finally cut off. Was driving while on hold and when I got to the store of course the product was not in stock.
In response to the company reply.. having enough staff in order to process phone calls to check on inventory would have alleviated all the wasted time.
There was no staff in the building supply department. There were four of us ( not together) walking around trying to find help. Find me a person in paint was able to tell me that there was no stock.
