I love the pizza and hot food table

In a age where food insecurity is a issue I would like to see your store either donated to a food bank or sold at reduced price or even offered as good to go ap

I always liked this store- unfortunately the experience has soured.
Used to be able to get in and out quickly - since self checkout (which I will not do) the lineups and only 1-2 cashiers has made this a nightmare. I don't have half an hour to buy a few things...

Meat department. No cool.
Picked up some ground beef ( reduced 30% great ).
Noticed the non reduced one beside it was the same price.
Looked the same size ???.
Took 3 reduced packages to the meet counter
All 3 had a sticker claiming .8kg (1.7 lb ) approx.
All 3 weighed .5kg ( 1.2lb ).
Meat guy fixed up the price and I was on my way.
UNTIL !!! I witnessed same employee watching another customer place several of the same miss weight packages in her cart and walk away. He said nothing.

I always prefer going to the Burloak’s location, but this time decided to save time to get a hot chicken for lunch. If I knew that in a nice sunny Saturday morning the customer service would give me such a hard time for placing a hot chicken into an insulated bag to keep it hot instead of their dirty basket, I would go extra miles to Oakville. If you, guys, have no idea what a customer service is, replace your banner with something like “Bullying & harassing station”. Really, you’ve just lost a long time dedicated customer over a single chicken. I hope your unprofessional employees are happy now. Added 6 months later: the way the owner reacts only to nice comments speaks for itself. No apologies until now.

I don't shop here regularly. Finding staff to help is often difficult. It is not the cheapest place to shop. But I can find some interesting and different things. Give it a try, decide for yourself.

It's got nice produce, but a limited meats selection and it's almost always the most expensive of the supermarkets in the area.

Longo's is a wonderful grocery store. The selection isn't huge but you can get good value for your money. There's a lot of options for organic produce as well. The employees are so helpful and kind.

This cashier manager shes so rude and disrespectful she should be fired for her rudeness and the way she treats her customers i bought 50% chicken that is expiring for 2 days and I opened it today when I got home and it smelled so bad I returned it to get my money back they took the chicken from me threw it out and they didn't even give me my money back and urongos policy sayed this RETURN POLICY

Doesn't matter it doesn't say on ur policy that so thats totally not acceptable and its not my fault that its bad then dont put 50% stickers if its 2 days before the expiry date and I want my money back thats not acceptable i payed money for this u guys don't care cause its not ur money at all and I will shop at fortinos cause they will do that for me they treat me much better than u guys u guys r the worse longos sucks NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH UR CUSTOMER SERVICE???????

As a long-time customer, I've consistently appreciated the high quality of products at this establishment. However, my recent experience left me a bit unsettled. While the quality remains top-notch, I encountered an issue with the service. The attendant at the self-checkout seemed impatient and nervous, which was a departure from the usual friendly service I've come to expect. Despite this, I'm inclined to maintain my five-star rating based on the consistently excellent product offerings.

I don’t understand why Longo’s put in self-checkouts if they just want to have a staff stand over your shoulder and watch you like you’re doing something wrong? I had the self-checkout person picking up my bag and typing over my shoulder. As someone who values my personal space, I don’t appreciate being treated like a criminal for doing absolutely nothing wrong except checking out a few groceries. Grow up Longo’s or take the self-checkouts out and staff your stores again.
