I adopted Bruce , a four year old German Shepherd in December 2023. The shelter takes care about the animals & takes time to ensure they are placed in a good home. They also walk, train and socialize them. I am so impressed with them & i love my Brucy ❤️.

Well very disappointing. Lady was very disrespectful to me and my choice of not having my cat fixed. Told me it’s my fault and that I should pay more attention to my cats to make sure they don’t get out, please tell me how when I’m working at a job site and my boyfriend goes home and the cat gets out that’s that’s my fault? So rude. So disrespectful. I hope I never have to deal with this place again.

Hello, how can I help you?I have an appointment with Tanya.Do you have an appointment?Yes I just told you so.Name please?I'll see if she's available.Tanya speaking, hello how can I help you?I have an appointment with you and I am standing in the rain.I'll be out in a few minutes.3 minutes later Tanya opens the door.Do you have your Driver's License with you?Yes?May I have it?If you have a pen and paper I can recite it to you.I proceeded to recite it to her. I know it by heart.I must have your Driver's License!For what purpose do you require my driver's license? For an animal services matter?Look! If you're going to be argumentative and try to bully me I'll just write a summons for court!Asking a legitimate question constitutes bullying?Yes you're being a bully!I am done with you!Closes and locks the door.I pay taxes for this kind of treatment?

Great place, staff friendly and knowledgeable the pets they have for adoptionWe have adopted 2 senior dogs in the past 3 years (Indy & Duke).Both are awesome pets. Will be adopting from them again.

We adopted a new family member 3 years ago. 7 yr old female German Shepherd mix (Indy). The staff was friendly and helpful. Will adopt from them again. Indy is such a lovely dog.we have now adopted another new family member today (Dec 30 2021). Duke is a beautiful boy and is a joy to have him join our family.

I took in a kitten off the street a few months ago. Gave it a place to sleep, food, love...but of course I let him out as well. Only when I was also home, never while I was at work, and never at night. Someone on my street finds him and takes him here. After just 3 days they want $150 to get the cat back. I, not having worked in almost a year, can't afford this. So I said I'm willing to continue taking care of the cat, I didn't lose him, had my neighbour left him alone he would've came back like he always did. This was not enough. They need the money and started to threaten me with collection agencies and adding the bill to my property taxes. So let's be clear. This is not a shelter. This is a FOR PROFIT organization that exploits the animals for financial gain.
