“The Arlington is an absolutely incredible hotel, especially as a solo traveller. I'm travelling for work and have visited both independent and chain hotels, and this takes the cake by far — even winning out against the Hyatt Regency in Toronto for me.

Being a Best Western Signature, the Arlington has the modernities you'd expect from a chain hotel (key cards, online booking, continental breakfast) plus an incredible atmosphere full of character. I had the Emily Dickenson room for two nights and was so blown away by how well put together and charming my room was. The bathtub was amazingly deep!

If you're working night shift, the shutters plus curtains in the rooms 100% blot out all of the light in the room. You could sleep peacefully through midday without even noticing the sun had come up. It was incredible (and super cute).

All in all: an absolutely incredible hotel with kind and caring staff, the luxuries of a chain plus the character of a small town historical hotel. The Arlington is a must-stay if you're in the area with an incredible downtown location. My only regret is not staying longer!

Walkability: Incredibly walkable — right in downtown Paris near tons of stores and restaurants!”
