Store has issue keeping stock.
Example: Dr Pepper all sizes always out of stock for over two years. . .
Not a good selection of brand name candy kept. Focus is on cheap junk candy.
Security guards frequently seen restocking shelves or chatting up the female employees. Blocking aisles.

This dollor Rama seems to like to keep line ups they were relying so much on self check outs they seem to forget how to serve customers

So slow, they removed the 4 self check out and it doesnt look like theyve added nearly enough people for checkout so the lines are awful.

Love that they put 6 employee checkouts in. Now please hire and have more employees actually working the tills. One is not enough. This is a busy location. Keep at least two on tills at all times and backups to page for help. The line up is atrocious! My husband has walked out 3 times now because he can't stand how long the line is all the time. Please hire more staff to support those registers and your customers. Thank you!

This Dollarama is in an area saturated with subsidized housing. Unfortunately this location reflects that, and has limited selection of almost everything for loss prevention.
You can still find some products, however you will most likely not find the exact items you are looking for, if you are used to shopping at other locations. When I attended, there were only 2 different types of male body wash, each for $5, and a very limited supply of hygiene supplies in general.
The location is convenient with lots of parking.
I suggest only shopping at this location as a grab and go, convenience option. Prices on important items can be cheaper elsewhere.

This store does not Honour the price printed on their products. Be aware they increase the price at the checkout!

I love this dollarama. The staff is always so friendly and they let me come in with my pet stroller without issue. Items tend to fly off the shelf quickly and they’re not replaced because the stores work on a liquidation basis so the stock simply runs out. All Dollaramas have different merchandise so whether your item will be at another location is totally random. The same store across the bridge has different items from the same stock (same toy but different character).
I wanted to specifically mention this store because their toy and book section is amazing. I often find stuff that’s better than other retailers. As a kid who would often buy toys at the dollar store, I would have loved to have the toys available here. Craft section as well, lots of options I haven’t seen elsewhere.

Found many, many items that weren't on my list and bought them anyway bc they were such a great deal!! I always enjoy shopping here and finding the new items that they have brought into the store as well as the tried and true goodies!!
