I have a good experience with this store - staff on cash are nice and respectful, items are good - I purchased a lot of things for my kitchen, house, and even grab some clothes. Life is not easy when you starting it from scratch in new country. Thanks to the The Salvation Army Thrift Store for making things easier to afford and my life little bit happier.

Why is it a customers problem if someone from your store marks the price wrong? If an employee marked the price wrong you’re supposed to honour it. Disgusting behaviour by the employees ganging up on customers acting like they’re the one who changed the price on purpose to save like $5. They said “we can’t sell it to you for that price” you work at a thrift store and get the items for free. Employees act like it’s something they’re personally selling and that they’ll lose money on it. Will not be shopping here again. Train your employees better and stop over pricing items.

Way over priced for donated items .. too expensive to do thrifting . Their aim is just profit purely .

This store used to be v good .. now it stinks.. and people are getting greedy..
Lady at the cashier agreed to give pot for 6.99 .. i saw it was set she said it ll be 15$ .. i asked for the pot only and she said no it will be 8.99 now.. How fair is that.. they have increased profit on free stuffs..

Very poor customer service. One of the staff took my trolly which I left in a segment to go get something else and they all denied that they do not know who took it. How a cart loaded with items carefully selected for about an hour just go missing and they denied taking it. I suspect the Philippino lady in charge. I am not impressed at all

I donate a lot of items and in turn find some great finds for the home I work at. The staff’s are always very helpful, polite. I think the prices are reasonable and the store is clean and organized. Great job.

BAD... donated tons and tons of stuff, and when I tried to make a purchase, they told me I couldn't use 20% coupon on items from the showcase at the front. Why not? It's so unbelievably cheap. Honestly, for few dollars off, they make an idiotic rule?! Absolutely nonsense rule. I will be donating somewhere else and will tell everyone I know donates there to switch as well, going forward, if they do not appreciate it and do not allow to use their own store issued coupon on all items at the store.

Hey people that are complaining about prices.....this is a charity. People donate these goods so that they can be sold for money that is then used to help people. Prices haven't increased out of greed, they need more revenue to continue the good work that they do. It's hard to believe that this needs to be pointed out.

I was there last Friday. I found it well organized and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Clothes organized in proper sizes appliances and nicnacs in good condition. I hadn't been there in quite awhile. Renewed my whole wardrobe and got a slow cooker, mirror, some photos running shoes, and winter boots. Because a lot of items were brand name and designer in the end I'm sure I saved hundreds of dollars. Definitely a fan !

DONATIONS. The staff at this location requires re-training. I had adempted to reach out to them many times over three days, (2 - 4 Jan 24) in order to speak with a senior volunteer or staff member. Regarding a larger donation, enacting as the executor of an estate, this was tine sensitive. Having worked for other charity organizations in BC I 'm quite familiar with the intake processes. However, when I or my staff were unable to receive even basic information such as a point of contact, email or telephone number; I went another way. Regrettably I would NOT recommend direct contact until management is able to correct this. I suggest using a competitor.

This store always smells rancid, like fish or something. Also, there is a manager with a West Indian accent (I think Trinidadian or Guyanese) but I couldn't get her name, however, the way she speaks to the employees/volunteers is vile. While I was there she could be heard yelling at them which must have been embarrassing for them. She was especially giving the young man sorting donations a hard time. Definitely not the way to treat your employees, especially not in front of customers.
