It was refreshing to buy fish and aquarium supplies from people who are actually passionate about what they do and genuinely interested in helping a beginner like me out(as opposed to the folks at at big store pet shops, who don't give two hoots). This is my go to aquarium supplies store from now on.”

“Staff were extremely helpful and, when you find one in their area of expertise, extremely knowledgeable. Great selection of products and food, conveniently laid out in 'pet type' areas, so everything you need is only an aisle or two away.
I struggled with a 3000 lb bag of litter (it may have been a bit smaller than that) and they helped me get it into my car.
Prices are competitive, definitely cheaper than Amazon. Lots of free parking.
I signed up for their rewards program and said I didn't want to receive emails, but by the time I got into my car I had two of them, which is why I'm only giving them four stars. However, I haven't received any emails since, so maybe they deserve 5 stars.”

“Ordered the Nepco 8.0 Cu. Ft. Aspen shavings for my gerbils. I ordered from Calgary, and with shipping fees it still had amounted to over a 45% savings versus local pet stores. Wonderful value, and the personal phone call to verify shipping I felt was beyond what most others would do. I highly recommend this store and will most likely be making my ongoing bedding purchases from here, save the few "oh-no" emergencies we all run into.”

“I've had great experiences at this pet smart with finding products, training, and all the staff there! Every staff member I've met has been super helpful and kind. I've been to this petsmart a lot over the years for both my cats and dogs. It's my go-to for reasonably priced pet essentials.
Most recently, I've been to petsmart a lot for their training courses. It has been a great affordable starting point to learn more about training my puppy and developing a relationship with him. The trainer Celeste is super kind, helpful, and passionate about dog training. I know she will be there to answer my questions and always adapt to each individual dog's needs. I've been to the beginner, intermediate, brain games, and advanced classes here, and I've definitely gotten my money's worth. Celeste goes above and beyond for the dogs in her courses, and I honestly did not expect such support from just the local petsmart training. I highly recommend using this as a starting point for training, or if you've already trained your dog, the advanced class is great for checking if they can get certification like the Canine Good Citizen.
