I drive from Kingston to bring my pro audio gear repairs to Rick and the boys because I want pros working on my gear. These guys are no joke. I recently brought my 20 year old Genelecs for a repair and re cap. It feels good to have 100% confidence in the work being done.
If you're serious and have serious gear, call them.

Have known and used O.A.S for over 30 years. Rick has rebuilt many items for me over the years including commercial audio gear, car amplifiers, turntables and my baby (1977 Yamaha CA-2010).
Super nice guy, extremely knowledgeable and one of the best in the bussiness.

I Have used their services since finding them about 6 years ago. I own own a lot of vintage gear. Most of it not brand name stuff. They able to fix everything I brought in including my CD player, pre-amp, sub woofer and tonearm. They even took the time to restore the wood veneer finish on the sub woofer. Looks like new again. Can't say enough about the quality service I have received. Not only do they repair but also upgrade where possible. Only quality replacement part from Us, Europe, or Japanese origin. All of this and a 1 tear warranty. I live an hour and a half away from their shop but wouldn't go anywhere else. If you love your gear then take it it there.Kevin Hertog.

These guys are listed as a Roland Authorized service centre. I brought in a roland hi hat control and kick pad for repair due to wear and tear.It took months for them even to diagnose the issue, then months for them to order the parts from Japan, now 11 months later and probably 15 calls to hound them I still don't have my parts back , no idea of price and a pile of excuses.One star because the owner is incredibly nice but this is no way to run a business.Unless you're a large commercial customer dont bother with these guys, they're too busy and don't have time for small services.

Was really disappointed here. Rick was very confident he could fix our commercial projector so we went through the effort of transporting it there (5 hour drive he was great to help arrange with one of his employees). After many weeks of not hearing anything, or having to call to get any kind of response, he basically said he was too busy. Since then I've emailed three times trying to arrange to get our projector back and haven't received a reply.I think they're probably great, but he just seemed too busy for us, and that was really disappointing after how confident he seemed they'd be able to resolve our issue. If you're sending a projector in, at least make sure the details on what is going to be done is worked out in advance!

Rick is a great guy. He goes above and beyond. He has repaired my amps, speakers, subwoofers, and laserdisc players. Repairs can some times take a bit of time, especially during busy season, but you won’t be disappointed.

They might be able to fix your amp or electronics. But they don't. They just tell you lie after lie saying they have parts or ordering parts or they'll have it done this week....and then they just don't. They don't do what they are in business for. One wonders how they're in business at all.

These folks rebuilt a vintage 1975 Marantz 4240 amp and Sony turntable. This was a labour of love for them and me. It required finding parts overseas and took over nine months. It was well worth it. Nick Drake and Led Zeppelin never sounded so good.
