The main guy over here is very nice. Overall the store has a lot of useful stuff. I don’t know why they have bad reviews. He is knowledgable and helpful. We got a chainsaw and some other stuff too. He even offered discount which is always welcome. It’s not as big as a home depot but I wanted a STIHL and they had one in stock so worked out for the best. Haven’t tried the product yet but store experience was nice.

Arthur is the best! He helped me with all of my questions and gave me tips and tricks to help my renovation. He is by far the best knowledgable employee.

Customer service is bad. 5 people standing around ignoring me while no customers. No one comes to help. Turban guy running around pretending to be busy. Horrible experience. I will never visit. Will go to Home Depot or Home Hardware Bolton.

I walked into the store NOONE acknowledged me, a caucasian man walked in not far behind me, two employees(a South-Asian woman and an older caucasian man)were quick to greet him and be friendly with him. I'm so sick of businesses treating customers differently because of their skin colour. I will spend my money in a different store. It's stupid how people perceive you when they see your skin colour.

Worst customer service. Stood for 10 min. No acknowledgement. Not a “can I help you?” I Finally walked over and asked for help with bathroom faucets and thought the rep was coming to help but instead he decided to help they guy that literally just walked in the door. Off he went to assist and I was left standing. Totally forgot about me. Perhaps because I’m a woman?? I was looking to replace all the faucets in my home but I won’t spend money where I don’t matter. Will NEVER come back here.

Experienced dishonest business practice and disrespectful staff this day. I normally go here when I need a few items so I can support local business. I needed 20 joist hangers. I compared prices online for an item and found Home Hardware advertised a cheaper price vs Home Depot. When I went to the store the item was nearly double the price advertised online. When I enquired within, the staff person and found the exact item further down the aisle for an even cheaper price. Right away, the staff person snatched the advertised price tag of the display area and said I would not be getting the display price because it was wrong. HOME depot would not honor the price online norepinephrine the instore marked price. The staff there was argumentative and dismissive. I asked one of the staff why he was yelling, he proceeded to yell louder and point his finger in my face with the manager present. Naturally I put my finger in his face and asked him how he like it. The manager separated the staff person but was no more helpful or reasonable. This back and forth continued. The manager finally said he would sell me the joist hangers for the lower marked price. He asked how many I needed. I let them know again I needed 20. He said no, he would only sell me one for the display price. Who buys just one joist hanger? I left angered, dissatisfied, disrespected and brought my business to Home Depot instead. I would NEVER support this particular location again because they act like CROOKS.

Very helpful staff are well versed in their stock. Just ask and item you are looking for is made availed . Very large assortment of stock..But being a home hardware prices were high.

Went here today to pick up a specific fuse. I was approached immediately by Harjot who knew exactly where to find the item I was looking for. Harjot was extremely helpful and knowledgable about other home questions I had. Thank you sir!

BIG RED FLAG - DESI owner, ZERO customer service,NO guarantee of any product sold !!! (one of my colleague bought a lawn mower from them in May 2023, and somehow the product had a manufacturing defect and he took it back to get a new one but after multiple attempts to the store to get a replacement, they provided no solution to his problem and moreover they had an excuse every time saying contact the manufacturer helpline directly and get a confirmation number from them and they will look into it !!! What a hassle !!
