I would never go to any Mr. Lube location again.
During an oil change, they said that I needed to change my spark plug, and i stupidly agreed. Then, a few mins later, they insisted that I need to change my ignition coils too, all 4 of them apparently, and would've cost me $520 + hst. Thank goodness I said no to this and went to my brother's mechanic to confirm. Turns out, I dont need to change ANY of my ignition coils. People here take advantage of your naivety and scare you to pay for things you dont need.
If you decide to go to Mr. Lube, dont ever take accept any other service/change recommendations they give, bec more likely than not, they're lying.
Edit: wow, they're actually claiming all technicans are trained based on my vehicle. But I'm m positive that they are instead trained how to rip customers off.

I went in for an oil change, but ended up getting the air conditioning filter, carburetor, transmission oil, and spark plugs replaced. So, instead of paying $80 as I initially thought, I ended up paying $1200. I'm not sure if all of it was necessary, but they were very insistent. They insisted on fixing the car's problems (which I'm not even sure about) in a way that felt highly manipulative. It's a strange place. An employee, who I believe is either Indian or Pakistani, even told me that the car's engine needed to be replaced and directed me to someone he knew. As I left, I really felt like I had been scammed.
