I had a flat tire yesterday (Oct 4 2024), so I turned into Top Notch on Queen St. in Brampton... I'd never been there before. Right away the owner, Martin, and 2 of his mechanics came to check my flat to see if it could be fixed. When it couldn't, they first searched for a used tire in their shop to replace it before offering me a new one at a great price. (I ended up buying 2 tires at a great price since I needed to replace a different tire anyway).
I didn't have to wait, they did all the work right away, including checking, filling and repositioning all my tires appropriately.
The vibe there is excellent - I felt like they genuinely wanted to get me back on the road quickly and safely, and offered me great service with fair prices.
A shout-out to Inder, the excellent mechanic who worked on my car - he was patient, thorough and very polite. Thanks Inder! :)
I don't live in Brampton but my mom does, so I told her about this shop since she's looking for a good place to start taking her car!

I took my cadillac to topnotch to replace my touch screen Deck and they did a great job working well and great service, very happy with the overall experience with Topnotch team. Keep gaving good service to your customers.

Hey.. thanks for fixing my Range rover man anybody in the GTA was not touching my car they said you need a new engine but these guys here they fixed it at very reasonable price thanks guys appreciate that

I don’t usually leave reviews but this is my second time at this mechanic and so far they’ve been very nice and honest people , I came around a time that they were about to close and the Owner still helped me figure out the problem with my car , one of the mechanics name KAM worked on my car the next day and thanks to him the problem is fixed. I also paid a reasonable price .. I’ll definitely be back

I have been going to this shop for a couple of years for minor or routine maintenance and the repairs were done right and reasonably priced, until I had a cruise control not working, however the part was faulty( not the shop's fault) after I addressed the issue they replaced the part with a good one and didn't charge me for the labor, and finally I had an electrical problem on the driver door that was a nuisance and couldn't be solved by an electrical guy at a different shop, guess what, Top notch fixed the problem for a reasonable price, I'll be back!

Took my car here after calling many other shops around the GTA. I’m so glad I made the right choice. They are friendly, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Great customer service and prices. They were able to finish the work on my car within a reasonable time, without me having to wait a number of days.
10/10 recommend. Definitely go here if you’re having a hard time finding a reliable team to work on your car :)

Friendly, reliable, solid service, I have been a customer of Top Notch for almost 25 years. Martin and his crew provide no hassle service no matter is it is scheduled, preventative maintenance or the occasional emergency. I have referred many friends to Top Notch and none have been disappointed.

I had a great customer service experience here. I called for a quote on tires and was assisted by Pam. She was pleasant and professional and very helpful, explaining the costs and rebate program to me. I liked the service so much I bought the tires!

Great straight up guy Martin! Always willing to help! Ben the mechanic always has a smile and ready for any questions. Front desk staff is friendly too. Overall a great asset to have a garage in the community.

I was regular customer of this place until my last visit for my Mazda CX5.My front brakes were noisy, Troy said it needs service. Paid 75$ plus tax but not fixed. Then they are like brakes need to be changed. Spoiler at back were loose they put some glue instead tightening screws paid 60$, it is again same.After paying for nothing, next day parking brake was not releasing. I went to them, they said it was not because of brake service, EPB motor needs to be replaced. Martin said it will cost around $400. Thank God I said I will be back, and they asked to pay 30$ again for diagnoses. Which I didn't pay. On my way, I went to other local service center, that guy literally put brake oil and charged me $80. And parking brake worked.Let me know If I mentioned anything incorrect.Advice: please reconsider your mechanic staff. And stop charging money if you are not able to fix the issue, no matter how many hours you spend on the car.

Performed service I didn’t ask for and charged me for service. I didn’t bother arguing over it because I didn’t want to ruin my weekend over $30.RE: you must be new in this business, I’ve been to this shop before and the previous owner was a great guy.You are correct I asked to fix the heat shield and you couldn’t do that I don’t care what was wrong with it, the instructions were clear to reattach the heat shield. What ever you did after that was unauthorized service (removing it and tossing it away) doesn’t matter it was $30 or 3k job, I have to know what you are doing and sign it before not after and it’s not very difficult to understand. Your use of poor communication shows you won’t be in this business for long.
