Family owned dollar store, not as many items as you might find in a regular chain. Was not able to get everything I needed in this one trip, which somewhat defeats the purpose of going to a dollar store. However, they had a 15% off promotion going on, so things were cheaper than I expected, which was nice.

I went in today to look for painting canvases. The owner followed me around a bit, but I thought he was just trying to see if I needed help. I picked up my over priced painting canvases and asked him where the water jugs were. EXTREMELY RUDELY he pointed them out to me.
His sweet son tried to cash me out. Then Mr Rude owner says to me " Your food smell is a problem ma'am. I tried to burn incense to get rid of it, but the smell of your food is not going away". I had some tandoori chicken with me from next door which was fully wrapped up.
I decided not to support his business and told him I did not like his food comment and that he was very rude. He made me feel as though he did not want me to be in his store. His response was also rude.
I went to a certain chain dollar store and got larger paint canvases for half the price.
I will NEVER support this man's business again. Never.

They take only debit or cash and if you gave them cash they don’t have enough change so at the end it’s waste of time and expensive gas.

Very rude customer service the ladies in the front is very rude. I visit today in the afternoon around 12.30pm p.m. she has like AirPods one side talking on the phone, doesn’t even look at me while I am waiting for payment and shouteing on one man in the store when I ask for small wiper, no respect said we don’t sell them. Did you see by yourself if you don’t see then we don’t have. I don’t know like why these guys doing this. No one is taking your things for free, we are paying you and for just one gloves, one adapter, one iPhone lead, they charge $40 like seriously, but she’s literally showing attitude to me

This used to be my local and favourite dollar store .
I bought a sun hat , and unfortunately it didn’t fit me .
After I came back to return it , I was told there are no refunds ; it still has the tag and I still have the bill .
10 years in Canada , and this is their first time I am writing a bad review .
I am sorry to say this but me and my
10 housemates are never coming back .

there’s products from 2004 TWO THOUSAND AND FOUR. being sold here. things that are used on your body or ingested expired. see the CVS box? we haven’t had CVS in canada since 2004. that is as old as my brother. all the soap is the same. brands that don’t even exist being sold with bottles bloated. hannah montana soap from 2008, one completely sun bleached from being in front so long

Very poor quality for the price , got badminton racket $8 + taxes and both racket broke in less than 5 minutes of play. Also got a doctor set part $6 parts broke off on 1st play. Not worth the money plus sad kids.
