I have a GTA pass (would highly recommend if you travel a lot in between municipalities) and frankly speaking, this is my fav location. Staff is great, I like the layout of the spaces and it’s clean.

Review for Charlotte:I am absolutely delighted to write a review for Charlotte, who teaches the Arriba class on Tuesday and Thursdays from 6 to 6:45 pm. From the moment you enter her class, you'll be greeted by her friendly and approachable nature. With her great energy, she manages to keep the class engaged from start to finish, always wearing a warm smile and offering encouraging words.Charlotte's classes are filled with vibrant energy that is contagious. Whether you're an experienced dancer or just a beginner, her inclusive teaching approach makes everyone feel welcome. You don't need to be a professional dancer to join; all you have to do is come out and have fun while getting a fantastic workout at the same time. One of the best parts about attending Charlotte's classes is the anticipation of returning each week. Her positive and uplifting teaching style creates an environment where you genuinely look forward to coming back. With her guidance, you'll feel motivated, inspired, and ready to take on any dance challenge.Thank you, Charlotte, for providing us with an incredible experience. Your dedication to creating a welcoming and energetic space for everyone is truly admirable. Keep up the fantastic work, and I can't wait to see what new dance moves you have in store for us next!Althea?

The gym area is pretty small overall and the equipment is old but it is clean for sure. The prices do not justify the product no sauna or any amenities without a 80$ a month membership not including the joining fee.Easily outpriced by LA fitness or goodlife

I have been part of ymca community for almost two years now. It has been a pleasure working out here. The staff is always helpful as i have experienced in other ymca’s.I came here from Vancouver Bc. And loved the way they treated me.Though it not a professional body building but it is perfect for the ones who want to get better in their physique.Enough machines to exercise. A track around the work out area which is almost 1 km when you complete 8 rounds of it. Swimming area is great. If you have the plus membership then the change room is best as they gives you vip treatment.Steam room nd hot tuh are the best part

It's disappointing to see a lack of badminton slots at the YMCA, with an overwhelming focus on basketball. It would be great if the facility could diversify its offerings to cater to a broader range of interests.Additionally, I've noticed a distinct lack of involvement from the board of directors when it comes to scheduling and staff supervision. It would be beneficial for them to take a more active role in ensuring a fair and balanced approach for all activities. In the case of badminton, it feels like there's excessive volunteer supervision, which can be frustrating.I believe there's room for improvement in making the YMCA more inclusive and responsive to the needs of its members. It's essential to maintain a positive and open dialogue to bring about these changes.

I had a great experience at the YMCA! The facility is clean and well-maintained, and I especially appreciated the ample availability of machinery. It's nice that it's not too crowded during the day, which allows for a more comfortable workout. The pool was a highlight for me, offering a refreshing and enjoyable swim. Overall, I found the YMCA to be a fantastic place to stay active and relax.

My son went to a week of summer camp at this location and on his last day he came home with a whole bumch of bumps marble sized all over his face. We called to talk to the head leader and she ( who showed up at 12noon) told us that the other camp councilors said that he got bit at home and his grandma dropped him off like that. His grandma picked him up from my house ( from me) and drove 5 minutes to drop him off looking normal. In the same conversation she said he got bit at camp. When I called her out on the discrepancy she said she wasnt done talking so I let her finish bit in the end she never clarified the discrepancy. At the end of the day when my son said he couldn't take the itching anymore they told him its almost home time and to wait 30 min. 30 MINUTESSSSSS??? If he was having an allergic reaction he could have DIED in 30 minutes. Not one call to us as the parents but apparently from what the leader told us the camp councilors had time to talk about it amongst themself. And not one mentioned it to us when we picked him up. Now we are at the hospital with him getting him checked out because we have no clue what these marble size bumps are all over his face.I know its teenagers here at the camp, but I expect them to be trained in how to deal with certain situations. I expect them NOT to ask a child what do you want us to do and at least call the parents to ask. He is a 7 yr old child!!!A warning to parents sending your kids here, take a picture of your kid EVERYDAY before dropping them off so you have photo proof and they cannot lie there way out of it.Im a reasonable parent, things happen sometimes at camp, thats fine, but whats not fine is you ignored the fact the child told you that they were not feeling well and bumps were coming up on there face. Instead of you dealing with it with at least a phone call to us, you want to act as if it was never there.Even if what they said was true ( which it isnt) and he came from home with it, why wouldnt you ask us about it. What if it was contagious? You just exposed all the kids at camp to it! Hopefully it isnt anything too serious and the hospital can find out whats wrong and give him something. I also hope someone higher up at the YMCA sees this review and addresses it because this is very concerning.

I went on to get membership 2 days back as I wanted my kid to kearn swimming.Yesterday we went at 3 pm I knew they will close at 4pm ,but as soon as we had shower and tried to get into pool the staff said" sorry we are closing at 3:15 you have 5 mins to be in pool".I understood and we left however today we got to the pool at 12pm and were turned back away saying we have training session for staff. It is so frustrating even after paying that much money and for 2 days straight you are not able to use the service.I had cancel my other plans so I can take my kido to swim.I would appreciate if they could send out emails apprising about maintenance program ,training program etc. So that people can do some other activites and don't cancel other plans.

The receptionist Lily was so rude. She did not even have the patience to hear and was concluding the sentences. People with better customer service skills should be put at the front desk. Apart from this, the facilities, classes and equipments are great.
