Had a known it was a bag your own kind of store, I would have gone elsewhere. The cashier just cashed out my items and waited to me finish bagging my items before cashing out the customer behind me. She held up the line , instead of helping me bag my groceries. What kind of service is this? I would have gone nofrills if this is the service I wanted and paid less.

Offers promos with 0 stock of item. Been here two days in a row so wasting my time at this point. You can receive a rain check which I wasn’t aware of however, store manager Kelly was called to speak with me in regards to the situation. I was cut off a couple times when trying to discuss issue (having a promo running and no stock for 4 of the days? Next time stock is to be received is the day it ends…) and was given attitude. Very strange for someone to receive a management position but have attitude? Are you teaching employees the same thing? Do better Kelly because it looks like you were testing me to get a reaction.

Went there quickly to grab a few things and the store entrance is blocked. What's the point of saying your store hours are open until 9:00PM when at 8:25 can't get in. Similarly my wife stopped there to get lotto tickets and was not available after 6PM. Make no wonder the prices are so high, you make all your money by noon so you no longer have to serve the public.

Sobeys is a great store. It's well laid out and has beautiful produce and an exceptional bakery. The store has lots of gluten-free and vegan options. The shop is clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. The prices are well within the norm and the selection is vast and varied.

The Meat/Seafood Departments will consistently repackage older food - what meat is good is overpriced. Produce will throw out perfectly good produce that could have otherwise been used by the Deli Dept, let alone compost it properly. The list goes on
Terrible Pricing, Shrinkflated Food being sold on sale, Arrogant Front End Staff, Terrible Management
Take it from a former employee. It was a great store when it was an IGA run by the Comptons - shop elsewhere if possible

Worst customer service!!! I went today to buy dark chocolate I paid for it. I went out and the lady standing was sooo rude yelled and called after me in front of other customers asking if I paid for it. How would I go out without paying for my stuff I’m not a theft. Why would you treat your customers this way???
