I have seen a lot of people bring their dogs into the store before and according to the staff, they do allow dogs to come in, so today I brought my bearded dragon in, and I was told that I’m not allowed to bring him in and to shop quickly and leave. I argued that other people have their dogs in the store, so why can’t I bring my lizard? I was told they’ve never seen a reptile in the store and technically the store isn’t allowed dogs, but they do allow them to come in the store.If you are going to allow pets in the store, you should not pick and choose what animal you are comfortable with.

Extremely disorganized and mismanaged.Just came back, and couldn’t go down a good chunk of aisles because employees leaving large boxes or push carts in the middle of the aisles. The people “working” were all within the Christmas decoration aisle just talking about the decor. There were people lined up on either side trying to make it down the aisle and they just didn’t even acknowledge or move. One just acknowledged my baby in the stroller and continued her conversation.Once in check out, a line up of almost 10 people and one cashier. A gentlemen behind me asked if they could get more cash bc it was taking a really long time. It took a few minutes but someone arrived and then that gentlemen was met by an extremely rude blue haired woman who told him in a cold tone “just so you know we’re not allowed to call for back up unless there’s 10 or more in line. We’ll get in trouble by our boss.”At that point there was probably more than 10.So not only do the employees need an etiquette course but the management needs some refreshing bc that’s insane. I’ll probably drive across town and avoid this mess of a store in the future.

Honestly the worst Dollarama I've been to. I've gone 4 different times to shop and have yet to make a payment because the line to cash out is just way to long. Only one cash open and no self-service checkout. Parking is horrible. Don't go to this location. The others in Bowmanville are much better. It's worth the drive.

The experience here was great,the guy was super friendly.I visited with my family and we were looking for a product and asm girish approached us and asked us if we need help and he helped us to find the product we were looking for. Thank you so much for good customer service. We will definitely visit again.

Bad customer service, manager spoke to me poorly over the phone after I told her I was double scanned at the cashier for one product. Told me the only way for a refund was to drive all the way back to bowmanville and back home ( I live 40 minutes away) for my refund as I can’t go to another dollarama store for the refund (according to policy). I expressed my concern for the gas money there and back being way more than the refund and that this wasn’t my error, she then proceeded to raise her voice over me and tell me that “she’s not arguing with me, and basically doesn’t have time for this”. Unbelievable. Highly not impressed with how I was spoken to.
