It was a seamless transaction from beginning to end from the time we submitted our application to the time we signed the adoption papers. The staff at Caledon Animal Shelter are highly skilled, trained professionals! We were able to adopt our beautiful girl LouLou (Amber). We adopted our cat from the shelter and brought her home in just under a week. She is adjusting well-we are thrilled to have her home with us!

I filled out the detailed adoption form and was contacted after a few days. I was able to make an appointment to meet them and pick them up at my convenience. Very happy with my healthy new friends, Mabel and Mowgli (previously Skor and Bueno). ?⬛?⬛

They are great caring people but shelter has less capacity to provide shelter to more animals.

My boyfriend and I adopted our soul dog from here about five years ago, Buddy has made the perfect addition in our lives and we cherish that everyday!! Thank you to this shelter and staff!!!

Is a great spot to come and adopt little furry friends!If you wish to visit the dogs they are by appointment only i believe they must be book over 12 hours in advance, but the kittens we just called ahead and showed up for a visit.I was also very pleased to find out that this is not a "kill shelter" where this is no time limit to be adopted for all the animals.Very kind and helpful staff.

Beware of adopting here and be careful with information given by staff, staff are not involved in process for adoption and cannot provide ACCURATE assistance with details in adoption. This makes it difficult to help these animals find happy homes due to flaming red tape via Town of Caledon.
