You can get almost everything you need grocery wise but if your looking for budget friendly groceries you may need to go into Lindsay or Peterborough.
I purchased two steaks for the long weekend, unfortunately for us I neglected to check the best before date at time of purchase. The best before date was the same as the purchase date so when I went to make them the next day one of the steaks was expired and smelled bad. Because I wasn't home we had travelled five hours away with our trailer, I took a photo of the steak and the label as well as a photo of the receipt. When I returned home I went to the store and told the staff about my problem and they immediately asked how they could fix the situation and then did. Thank you for standing by your products and your store. You stepped up today and it was noticed and appreciated especially with the cost of groceries now.

As it is my local grocery store, I shop there often.
Bit also often I'm disappointed because they don't have a product that I'm looking for.
Today is was A1 Steak sauce. They only sell HP and was informed they don't carry A1. Why not???? It's just as popular as HP. Why do you want your customers to go to Foodland? They stock both!

today I bought 3 items, and 2 of the items were charged more at the checkout. This happens a lot here and always in favour of the store. a ham that was 10.99 and was charged 12.00. I saw it and told the cashier, she went to check it and came back agreeing, tried to change the price and couldn't, then went to another cashier who couldn't help her, went to a second cashier who eventually told her how to change it. Took about 5-6 minutes while I'm standing there and my ice cream is melting on the counter. Got to the car only to realize that the onions I bought were charged 8.99 instead of 8.49. Didn't bother to go back in for another 50 cents, but this happens a lot and I feel scammed and disappointed every time. I have to track every item when checking out, and demand correction on the spot every single time.

I had a coupon for free ice T from the manufacturer and the cashier didn't know how to input it into the system, she acted like she wasn't willing to look for help till I wasn't leaving without it for free.. As it is a valid coupon. She then said "oh I don't have a manager on staff right now" when I asked to speak to one when she said she didn't know how to do it… she finally went and asked one of the other cashiers how to do it... This should not have taken so much time...ALL CASHIERS SHOULD BE TRAINED ON THE SAME so disappointed

Not a huge store but doesn't have to be. The layout is great. Not a great supply of everything so buy two of each, lol. The young staff are friendly and eager to take your money at the cash. Shop till you drop, have fun!
