Gas station didn’t have gas. Sign says “Sorry no gas yet”, don’t know if it’s a new service, if so they should take down all online listings of being a gas station until they have gas.
Pictures on Google make it look like they had gas at some point so maybe they had gas service in the past. Either way I’m waiting here for CAA as our navigation plans had filling up here on our route and we don’t have the range to continue to the next station.

I've ordered pizza a few times from the kitchen when it was under the old owners, and enjoyed it every time. Wanted to give the new kitchen a try too, since I heard the smash burgers and poutine were good.
Not sure if I caught the kitchen on a bad day, but the food was off.
I ordered two smash burgers and a large Poutine as takeaway. They were out of cheese curds, so they offered to substitute those for shredded mozzarella, which I said was fine. If you've ever ordered poutine from Milanos Pizza, they do it this way. I've had Milano's Poutine before, so I thought it couldn't be too bad.
The food was ready about 10-15 minutes later. It was about 5 minute drive home, but on opening the bag at home, My wife and I found the burgers and Poutine containers to be stone cold. Part of the lettuce on my burger was going bad, it had that rotting, limp slimyness starting to it. I wanted to taste it though, since as I mentioned, I had heard good things. After removing the lettuce, I bit into the patty. It was under cooked, cold and tough. Bright pink in the middle. The cheese sitting on the patty wasn't even slightly melted, so it seems like I was given a partially pre-cooked patty, maybe thrown on the grill for 2 minutes to try and heat it up. The tomatoes were fine, but a bit too thick. There were no onions or pickles as advertised on their new menu. My wife had the same experience, though the patty in her burger was even more undercooked. I also had some gritty bad tasting substance on one side of my patty. I would guess it was grit from the grill, that hadn't been cleaned off. It was bitter and tasted off. That was the final nail for me and I threw out the rest of the burger.
Hoping the Poutine would save the night, we turned to try it. First off, the container looked like a small rather than a large. On opening it and transferring its contents to a plate, we were met with a portion only large enough to fit on 1/3 of 1 plate. Not enough for two adults to share. The shredded cheese we'd been offered as a substitute was sparingly sprinkled on top. The gravy was stone cold, and not enough had been put on the Poutine to even seep to the bottom of the container. It seemed to be maybe a beer based gravy, as it had a hoppy type of taste to it. Not my favourite ever taste for a gravy. But at this point we were done, and couldn't finish.
For almost 40 bucks, it was disappointing. I'd still like to try the pizza under the new owners though, and will go back to try it at some point.

So making a new review since the new owners. Pizza is still amazing love the spiciness. But the crust could have been cooked a bit more. Don't know anything about ovens maybe to high. We just threw it in the house oven got it nice and brown. Other then that you guys are killing it. Definitely going to give it another shot and another just incase. Gotta support a local business.

I used too look so forward to getting pizza slices here. They had the best pizza. But since they are under new owners, the pizza is not as good and not consistent. Been here several times at lunchtime only to find no slices. What a shame.

Apparently you can support a local business too much. I tried to purchase sausage rolls for my children and bring my coworkers breakfast and was told I was “killing her with my order of 6 rolls and 3 egg and bacon rolls”. I was told I was ordering too much and there wouldn’t be anything for anyone else yet I wasn’t cleaning out their stock and they’d have to make more. Needless to say I was guilted into leaving the store with nothing and came home empty handed to crying toddlers because they love their sausage rolls. I wish I could say this was the first time I was scolded by the owner for ordering here. I preordered buns for a party two summers ago and received the same treatment. They lost the order but blamed me somehow when I called to make sure the time to pickup was ok. Don’t take the order if 2 dozen buns is too much and maybe put out a sign if you only want to sell one item per customer if you don’t want to sell more than one item of food at a time. Doesn’t sound like a profitable business model, but maybe that’s why I have a successful business? Don’t make the customer feel bad for supporting your small business! As a business owner myself, I would never treat a client this way. Needless to say as much as I love the food and goodies that are available right down the street, my support ended today.

Friendly staff and a good basic selection for a convenience store. The pump rattles a lot so be ready for it.
