I’ve been shopping at this store for a couple years now. Usually I have a good experience, until I had spoken to someone in the grocery department for help. He was rude and seemed annoyed when I spoke to him.

Another disappointing visit to the fish counter today ( Friday). I was looking to purchase some fresh cod but as usual there wasn’t any. I asked the young guy behind the counter if there was any and he said “no but I don’t know why, as lots of people have been asking for it”. I told him that the last time I was looking for it I asked the lady ( assuming she was the manager) if she had any cod and she shot back at me with an attitude saying “ haddock’s on sale so I don’t order cod”but about the people who don’t want haddock?She was not pleasant at all, maybe she doesn’t like her job but she should be at least doing the job that she’s paid to do. Very disappointed in the new fish counter.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Stocks are always plentiful. Clean and well-lit store. Fast cashiers. Self checkout available. Carts are always available. Baskets are available too. Produce meats and fish are fresh. The hot food section always has good consistent food. Plenty of parking. Free WiFi but does not work all the time.

Yesterday, my mom asked the butcher here for the price of a tenderloin and he simply responded "You couldn't afford it". What a way to do business and serve customers during the holiday season... This household will find another store that actually wants our money rather than humiliate its customers. Disgusting.

Recently moved back to town. I went to self check out to purchase beer with my drivers license (I’m 26), a very nice woman checked my ID and verified it but when I realized they didn’t take cash at the self check out, I went to the actual check out. The woman behind the counter who I believe was being ageist against me due to me being in my 20’s, questioned me about my ID when I showed her. I was kind and verified the dates and middle name and offered to pull out another ID to verify. She didn’t ask for the second piece, but she kept making remarks while I paid. She kept saying that ‘she didn’t think it was me’ and ‘really didn’t think it was me.’ Im a 26 year old server who has been on the industry for 3 years now serving alcohol daily and am very aware of what can be said to people and what cannot. She has the right to refuse me, but not to keep insisting I was lying WHILE still selling me beer. It’s not appropriate to make these comments and someone should address this with staff, maybe go over how to ID and how to request for a second piece. If she felt uncomfortable cashing me out, she should have gotten a manager and had them check VS make me uncomfortable. I will be sure I present two pieces of ID every time because I really didn’t need the unnecessary comments.

Staff in bakery is rude. Spoke to a young man about my bread not weighing correctly based on the price tag. And he was rude and condescending and he said he was the baker.Please train your staff because my bread shouldn’t be 200g less when I’m paying so much for it.I will be going to the old post bakery from now on.

The diamond in Niagara. The staff at this store know what service means. Recently went to this store to return a few items due to a possibility of gluten in food . The staff was more than helpful they went out of their way to locate an gluten free alternative. I never felt so at ease during the whole experience. I know one thing I live in Grimsby but I'll be shopping in beamsville. Top job people.
