My daughter transferred to Great Lakes for 2nd semester of grade 9 and she is loving the students, teachers, and the challenging curriculum. The small school allows for more one-on-one time with the teachers and has enabled her to meet almost everyone in the school within the first week of attending.I have found that the teachers and administrative staff are completely invested in making sure my daughter excels in her studies and is on track to get into the university program she desires.Joining a new school mid-year with only 15 grade 9s and already having completed 7 high school credits could have posed a very large challenge for the guidance counsellor but she handled the scheduling with ease.

Even as a new student, I enjoy this school a lot. It feels sm refreshing than a typical high school environment and weather you're in the dorm or not, you feel loved.

A high school with staff that actually care about the students and their success. Students that are not only friends, they become family! A school like none other!

Great school. Very safe environment for students. High academic standards. I was very well prepared for post-secondary (much more than my peers in College). I am now sending my own children here.

In June 2021 our third child graduated from GL! All three went on to post secondary school. Thank you to the teachers and staff at GL! They made a difference in the education for each of my children.

i went to gl for all 4 years. somewhat enjoyed it while i was there but after leaving realized the literal cult i had left. left me very confused & instilled deep homophobia and hypocrisy onto its students.

Coming to Great Lakes after experiencing another (much bigger) public high school first, it felt like a breath of fresh air. The personal attention and family atmosphere were completely unlike anything we'd experienced before in any of our children's schools. The staff are caring, and the academics are exactly what we were looking for. The school has been a great, safe place for two of our children last year, and we look forward to a few more great years with another child coming up the ranks.

We came to Great Lakes recently from the public school system and it has been an absolutely wonderful experience. I no longer worry about the quality of my son's education. Great Lake's academics are impressive and my son benefits from caring Christian teachers in smaller classes. Progress communication home to parents is amazing and frequent so should there be a problem, it can be addressed immediately. The school has been extremely warm and welcoming and my son loves his new school. I would highly recommend!

Our family has been a part of the Great Lakes community since 2014. All of my children have attended and we still have 2 enrolled. We are very happy we made the decision to send our children to Great Lakes. The Great Lakes community is fabulous. We love the teachers and staff, they are very supportive and caring.

I go to this school and I have never experienced a more welcoming environment. All the staff and students are extremely kind and quite funny. We had culture week this week and it was a lot of fun to be able to represent my culture and learn more about other cultures. The school has really great sports teams and recently we won both basketball and volley ball championships. GO LAKERS!!

I starting attending Great Lakes in grade 11. The community here is amazing, I made instant friendships and started doing school activities like student council and sports teams. The teachers here are very supportive and are very accessible for help when needed. Attending Great Lakes was the greatest decision.
