I have been coming to Star Nails &Spa for 17 years and I highly recommend Amy to anyone. My sculpture Nails always gets me compliments. They look very natural.
Cleanliness: Amy follow very strict health care requirements to ensure her clients safety. After 17 years of interactions I have never had to deal with an incident affecting my health.

I have previously been to the salon and although the experience was nice, they did a very sloppy job. I went in today to go get my toes done. I had asked for an acrylic French tip As I wanted my toes to have that nice square shaped to them, she began and it was amazing. Service was beautiful. I paid left my toes had nail polish everywhere and they were not a French tip. I paid over $65 Dollars not including tip I went back in. She attempted to fix it because again it was not what I asked for She kept messing up the French tip, so I went simple and asked for a solid colour Once they fixed them again, I left and was still very unhappy as there was nail polish all over my toes and scabs, Which then began to bleed when I left, I gave them one last chance and unfortunately they didn’t meet my expectations again. I did not get my money back as it states no refunds, and I do regret all looking before I left but in other work they were very nice people though.

Do not go to this salon. When my friend and i walked in there was one worker and we had to wait an hour for service when it was practically empty. Then when we were finally attended the services took more then three hours. Both of our nails were not cleaned, and the work done was very rough to the point it caused pain and bleeding. The dip powder application was messy and chunky. The nails were not the same shape and had many imperfections and crust and leftover nail polish was left on our fingers. My nails were very basic so even though the design is extremely messed up it wasn’t that easy to tell at first glance. However, my friend wanted to get a cheetah print french tip and the service was absolutely horrendous. The french tip was jagged and completely uneven, and the nails looked like they had dirt or poop smeared on them. Her nails did not look anything like a cheetah print. We both payed 60$ for the worst nails i have ever had in my life. And we were forced to sit and have pictures of our nails taken for promotion without even being asked. It was unbearable and a horrible experience overall.
Cleanliness: All of the products are dirty and the service overall was unsanitary. I saw her remove brown goop from the brushes she was using on me when my base was clear-pink. As well, after the service i had nail shavings all up my hands and arms that were not brushed off. The only other employee that was in there had his food all over the nail counters and was doing nothing but eating and did not clean up after himself. Not to mention the smell of the food was unbearable and made me nauseous during the service. Now i can see why this is such a small nail salon. You’re better off going to an express nail chain than this salon. Do not recommend.
Stylist: Our stylist was the owner Amy and she was horribly rude and hostile after my friend and I came in to get a refund. My friend was in tears because of how horrid her nails were and she had been saving to get them done for a while for back to school. Not only did Amy at first refuse to give her a refund after seeing the horrible state of her nails, she became rude and yelled at my friend and tried to get other customers to agree with her that it was my friends fault for choosing the design. My friend asked her multiple times to correct the nails during the process and was visibly upset the entire time. She then offered her half price but after a while finally agreed rudely. She aggressively and messily cut off her nails and threw her money on the counter.

I am not happy with my experience at this salon. Every time I have gone the nail tech is on her phone watching a video or on a video call. My nails either had too much product making them thick or my nails were chipping and lifting. When I went for a fill the nail product was lifting from my original nail and the technician did not fix it. Previous salon experiences my nails have lasted up to 4 weeks with no breaking or chipping however every time I got them done at this salon they wouldn’t last more then 2 weeks without breaking or chipping.

This was my first time at Star Nails & Spa, I enjoyed the atmosphere, felt very comfortable with friendly and professional service. I would highly recommend going. I know I will be going back.

Amazing place!They were so nice and friendly. They answered all my question before when I messaged them on Instagram.The complicated art They did for my daughters nails was amazingly done, so much skill and patience.Store was clean and a warm welcome environment with lots of space.Booking was super easy.100%recommend!!!
