We bought a bed from sleep country Barrie's South location. Purchase went fine but once it arrived both of us have had aching lower backs and shoulder pain. Called to request an exchange and were told first by a staff member to crawl around and jump on it. Then we were ttold by the manager that we "had" to continue to sleep on it from 21 days (break in period), he raised his voice and was very rude with me for asking for the exchange. My boyfriend is now sleeping in his truck. I wake up with lower back pain and it is getting worse everyday. It's sad that, it appears he was only interested in the initial sale and not the return business or customer satisfaction.

A brand new mattress was just delivered exactly one week ago from walking into Sleep Country Commerce Park location, not really sure how the significant purchase of a new mattress would go.
After spending a few minutes with Nary any doubt we would need to make multiple stops and endure the painful experience of shopping around for the best deal or more importantly the right mattress was gone . We were clearly in the right place.
Nary was knowledgeable, friendly professional, and helped us make our own decision about the right mattress for us. She made the experience pleasant and a more important to us a one stop purchase of a great product for a good price.
The follow up from the purchase was outstanding with confirmation of a delivery during the week, up to the minute notifications of the status of the delivery day of and the team who delivered the mattress and removed the old mattress were friendly, polite, professional, and extremely fast.
The experience was extremely positive, pleasant and we would not hesitate to recommend Sleep Country.

My husband and I had a great experience at this sleep country ! Way better than the other ones around. Derrick was incredibly helpful despite the busy store, and was able to assist in finding our perfect mattress and pillows!

Initially great interaction. Rep explained differences on types and features of mattresses. After attempting to price match they refused to do the 5% difference. Went to the north end and they did it no problem.For delivery, I got a call from a local personal number. I didn't answer in time and no voicemail was left, so I assumed it was spam. They called my husband and he also missed the call. Sleep country called after and said our delivery date was cancelled after they couldn't get ahold of us via phone and email. That was the first registered call from sleep country (plus no email to be seen). Not impressed with the communication. On delivery date, the first call was from a registered sleep country number. They gave a time window, which was great. Got a text notification later that it'd be 15-45 minutes. It was an hour an a half later that they finally showed up. Delivery company worked fast and did a great job. Overall unimpressed with difference in following policies between locations and poor communication about delivery. Why would sleep country use a personal phone number to cancel my delivery and not leave a voicemail? Especially when it looks like there's a company phone line to use to contact customers? Won't be visiting south end for next mattress purchase.
