Just got my nails done for the first time today with ping, and I must say I’m impressed, she’s so kind and and funny and relatable and I really enjoyed her conversation, she also massaged my hands with lotion gave me a nail file and buffer and applied a hot towel which was so nice! I have been going to Ping for over a year now and am very happy with the service! It’s like going to see family when you enter the salon with the great conversation and atmosphere. I never have any issues with the work done and it lasts for a very long time!Services: Nail polish changes

Ping is the best in Barrie. I’ve gone to her for 2 years straight. I get bio gel nails and she does them perfectly every time.

I called for a quote on acrylic removal (explained it was only a bit left on 5 fingers) the lady was extremely rude, I thought there was perhaps a potential to adjust the $35 price for that service , I was told no (rudely) which I understand that the price it what it is , but as I was debating for a few seconds whether to book or not ..she hung up on me. Which is a shame , because I was really hoping to get mine re-done, as well as book 3 girlfriends for pedicures, so thanks - but no thanks !

I just called for a refill and I don’t think I’ve ever had someone be so unenthusiastic and rude on the phone when I called for an appointment. I asked for a refill appointment and the lady who picked up sounded very unhappy and just wanted to stop speaking to me. She was very standoffish. Not sure why as I was being polite. This was my first time wanting to try this salon, but I don’t think I will just based on how the person answered the phone and spoke.

First time here tonight and I will be a repeat customer! Can't stop looking at my nails, I love them. Ping really listened to what I wanted and took the time to explain the different services so I was well informed! Thank you Ping, you have a wonderful salon.

First time here and Ping was amazing! She even texted me the day before to see if I had photos of what I was looking for so she had an idea of what I wanted before I arrived. The salon is so clean and they thoroughly clean everything after each customer. I have been searching for a good nail tech for a long time and I'm happy to say, I've finally found one! Prices are comparable to other salons maybe even a bit lower, but I also feel like you are getting alot more friendly, personable service.

Excellent customer service. Definitely worth the price as all of the staff do an excellent job and the salon is always very cleanly with a large selection of colours to choose from. Ping always makes sure to do a top quality job and my nails have never come out looking anything less than fantastic. Absolutely loved the kiwi design she did for me. My acrylics didn't even come off with intensive handwashing at work.Service: Manicure

I've had both pedicures and manicures by Ping and her staff. They are all very professional and skilled. The shellac manicures are the best I have ever had - they last 3 weeks without chipping. Ping has taken every precaution to keep her staff and customers safe during COVID, and has barriers between all of the stations.Services: Pedicure

I was a bit apprehensive at first but with some support from my fiancé I went in for my first mani-pedi. I felt very welcomed and they explained everything to me. The whole experience was very relaxing and the results were wonderful.As this was in preparation for our wedding there was some concern with going to a new place. Although a small shop, it wasn’t crowded and their care for sanitation was excellent. The results for both of us were excellent.I actually liked paying up front as there were no surprise charges at the end and the experience ended with goodbye waves and smiles.We are both looking forward to another visit.

This was my first time getting my nails done and I am so impressed with Pampered Nails by Ping. I've heard so many horror stories about horrible nail salon experiences and I am ecstatic to say I did not encounter anything remotely close. From the very first phone call to inquire about their services and prices, I found they were great at answering questions and giving lots of information... very professional. I even had to push my appointment back an hour, at the last minute, which they did with ease. They took payment at the beginning which isn't a big deal and they have signs up too that say that. The place is very nice and also very clean, following Covid protocols. The lady who did my nails, Ping, was very friendly and a great conversationalist which made my experience much more enjoyable. Throughout my session she would also ask if I liked, for example, the length, the shape, the colour of my nail which was great customer service. Ping is the only person I trust to do my nails in all of Barrie. Her attention to detail and concern for overall hygiene is unmatched. Whenever I am asked about my nails, I am always sure to recommend her. I have gone to her salon dozens of times and have never been disappointed; they ask multiple times throughout to ensure you are satisfied, and they are willing to accommodate any request. No other salon shows the level of care that Ping and the girls do. They are all fantastic.
