I brought my older car in for a transmission diagnostic expecting a worst case scenario. Jason and his team took extra care to conduct a thorough transmission inspection and found my shifter just needed to be oiled! There's something to be said about this locations ethics and amazing service. Thank you so much Jason and team I appreciate it so much!

Terrible diagnostic skills. Brought here for an evident transmission problem and was hust told it was an engine issue and when I explained that as a former mechanic but one that didnt diagnose transmissions beyond it being an issue and explaining what is happening and how its not an engine thing i was just told that the HEAD technician "looked" at it (even a simple test drive could tell you whether it was enginenor transmission) and that i could get a complete trans rebuild quote.... well that doesnt fix the issue... what is it about the transmission that needs repair? Well we swiftly took it elsewhere and happily got our answer. Beware of the diagnosis and solution you get.

First off let me say that transmission issues can be a real headache to say the least!
The team at Mister transmission in Barrie are absolute live savers!
When I dropped my GMC Sierra off to have it looked at they told me they were very busy.
A shop that is busy means they do good work!
Jason was very patient with me even tho I called nearly every other day asking for an update.
Lucky I had a 3rd party warranty on my truck so Jason was very knowledgeable on how to apply the warranty to the repairs needed on my truck.
I personally want to thank the amazing team at Mister transmission in Barrie for the outstanding service and repairs they commit to!
I would recommend this shop to everyone looking for top notch repairs done right the first time.
They day I went to pick up my truck it was parked out front ready for me to collect it.
Signed all the paperwork needed was handed the keys no hassles no issues.
The best experience I’ve had with any shop.

The staff here knows transmissions and when you know, you know. My office is my truck and when it died, making money came to a halt. The team at Mister transmission got me back on the road in the most timely and cost effective manner possible.

Had a leak from the pan and front seal on my transmission. Despite being busy these guys were able to seal up the pan within one day. No leaks from the pan. I decided to hold off on the main seal as it is a slow leak and I'll deal with it in the winter when the cars in storage. Thanks

Jason as the first voice you hear when you call Mr Transmission was friendly and helpful. The personal interaction with him was refreshing and he was so welcoming. He was efficient and knowledgeable and explained what they would do to help us figure out why my van was so loud. Within 6 hours, we got my van back sounding better and was given a list of what else my van needed to get done at our regular mechanics. Thank you to Jason and the crew at Mr Transmission Essa Road for the great service!

Thank you for the great service we received at Mister Transmission in Barrie. It was exceptional. They made sure the vehicle was at 100% before they let us pick it up. I would recommend them to anyone that needs transmission repairs. All the employees were pleasant and made you feel important. If you had any questions they answered them right away. Outstanding service.Professional, honest and courteous.I believed I was in for a major expense for my F 150.Lorenzo diagnosed the issue while we were driving home to drop me off. It ended up being a cracked vacuum hose. The same afternoon he called me and said my truck was ready to go. When I asked about the cost of the repair, his response was don't worry about it.NO CHARGE!! Unbelievable in this day. Most of the " big boys" would be reaching for your wallet. Would highly recommend this business.

Brought my truck in to diagnose a faulty torque converter. After running a full diagnostic no issues were found and they sent me on my way without paying a dollar.Top notch stuff, would recommend!

I called to book a diagnostic. After taking the info on my vehicle, they told me they're not accepting appointments. Whaaaaat? I asked if I should call back in January and they said no.Sooooo..... don't bother calling Mister Transmission, they don't want or need your business!
