So helpful and patient. The staff do what they can for you if you’re patient and courteous with them and the process (ie helping you sort out where you’re covered for a cpap). Be polite and ask for help if you need it , it goes a long way . Eliminated my embarrassing snoring, restored my energy and probably added back years i might have of lost without treatment.

I called to confirm the price of a mask on their website before driving in from another town. I was told one price on the phone, and a very different price in store, much more money. When I brought it up, I was argued with, told that I never would have been told that. Will not be returning.

It's beyond me how this place is still in business... I started out using their services over 30 years ago, because the one employee was Great... (Agnus)... once she left I've had nothing but grief... luckily I found her, with no help from Medigas, and continued to have her help with the obstacle coarse they call the "System".. Agnes has moved on now.. so.. I'm back at square one again... I've tried three different times to "buy" another CPAP machine from here, but as soon as I say "BUY" the attitude starts, Since I've been using the equipment for over 30 years, I'm well advertised to the products, functions, and medical purposes and benefits of said equipment... I don't know if I look like a broke Hobo or if it's the training or lack there of, but when someone walks through the front door and says.. "Good day, I'd like to buy a CPAP machine" the first reponse shouldn't be.. "You mean buy it out-right... they're (approx) $1000."... & do you need an updated prescription.. Me: Yes I have everything I need with me, is this the only selection you have? (2 or 3.. that's it) Well I'd like to hear how quiet or loud they are. .. Well sir they're all relatively quiet if they are well maintained & serviced properly... At this point I really didn't feel like explaining the history or evolution of the CPAP machine over the years, so I proceeded with .. well let's check them out. .. .. Sir you have to Buy it first.! me: what..why?.. Well it's a sanitary thing. .. me: I brought my own hose, mask & head gear, so that won't be an issue.! her: NO You have to buy it first... This is when I gave up... I've been in the "System" before Barrie even had a Sleep Clinic... once upon a time the "Stores" had a Fitting Room, and machines to try out and choose from, I know.. I've been in several (8-10) and I've owned 7 different cpap machines over the years maybe 8... and don't get me going on trying to get them Repaired.. Anyway... I sure do miss you Agnus, and if you by freak chance read this review.. I'm the guy who's machine blew-up from Lighting years ago.. (I assume you retired) At this point I'll simply say "Good-bye & good luck"

I met with Jennifer today at Medigas's Barrie location. She was very professional, providing a knowledge presentation. She knew the equipment well and outlined my options. I was impressed that she encouraged me to make further contact any time I experienced difficulty or required additional consultation or equipment.

I met with Medigas today to purchase a CPAP machine prescribed for me. The girl who served me was great. She appeared to be very knowledgeable & helpful. Customer service was great despite my confusion around machines. I ended up buying a machine at her recommendation. I feel confident I have received the best service I could get in this field.

I have been going here now for a couple of years, and every time has been a pleasure. The staff here are top of the line, and care about your individual needs and are very supportive if you need help in any way. Tiffany and Jackie in particular were standouts at the store, always bringing their A game. Will be going here for all my CPAP needs!

I am a client of Medigas, Barrie for oxygen therapy and CPAP therapy. Their customer service and products are excellent. My contacts with staff have ‘all’ surpassed my expectations. Jose, Respiratory Therapist and Victoria, Sleep Support Advisor have provided me with personable and professional assistance. PS - I am not a robot. I am an extremely pleased client!

I had an excellent experience at Medigas with the help of both Tiffany and Jacqueline. Jackie was so kind and knowledgeable taking extra time to ensure I understood my newly purchased CPAP. I strongly recommend this particular location on Bayview Drive in Barrie as I know they will not disappoint with knowledge, guidance, good customer service and all around fair pricing.

I’m not using this company from now on. They were great a first with attentive service and reminders up until 2021 probably because of Covid it was done over the phone and delivered promptly. After that it was difficult to communicate. Not the Barrie locations fault. Finally, it wasstated to me that I was expected to pay $65 or more in excess of $100 that insurance would payfor heated tubing that they are showing $90 for on the Medigas Express website. I won’t do that.So I’m not returning to the Barrie store. I will use online independent suppliers my insurance willreimburse me for at a fraction of the price! I’m not a CPAP newbie, I know the equipment very well.… And no they did not make things right. This is gouging at its worst. Capitalism these days, greedflation and exploitation of workers.

I bought a CPAP machine at Medigas in the Barrie location. After two days of buying and using it once, I found out it was not working for me as I was uncomfortable using it, so I returned the machine. They told me there was no return; however, the advisor did not tell me, and she said the return policy was in the paperwork you signed. After complaining to their head office, they agreed to return 80% of my money and deduct 20% for the time-consuming, but good things happened today; somebody from the head office called me and left a kind message saying that they would refund the total amount which I paid in 5 business days. So, it seems they understand the customer's concerns and like to make customers happy.2023/08/28

My experience with Barrie Medigas and Jacalyn in particularly, has been fantastic. They took me through the c-pap set up with clear and straight forward directions. Two weeks later we realized I required a bi-pap and the conversion to the new device was seamless. Two weeks later I needed an adjustment to the settings. Jacalyn went through the wifi connection and five minutes later completed the adjustment. Then my brother had an issue with his c-pap supplier and of course Jacalyn to the rescue again. She picked up the phone and in her proactive professional manner got on with fixing the issue. Service is what makes a company and Jacalyn provides service with a smile!!Thank You JacalynMichael Bolton

Two weeks ago my husband needed to have oxygen delivered to our home. Our Home Care Nurse called Medigas and Brent who was on call for the weekend, came to our assistance. He not only delivered the required items at 9:00 pm on a Friday night, but drove to Muskoka from Barrie. He was patient, kind and so very helpful explaining the process of getting oxygen, how the portable oxygen tanks worked and how the home oxygen would work. He ensured that we had enough supplies for the weekend also. When I had to call this week to have the items picked up the staff were understanding and very compassionate. Thank you for your help and professionalism, it made our journey so much better!
