Don't buy rock climbing shoes here. When buying they will lie and say they can be returned for any reason but then will claim a manufacturing defect is from normal use and deny your claim even if the shoes had only been worn a few weeks. They shouldn't even mention a return policy for climbing shoes if they aren't going to honour it in any sense.

Screwed up my online order then said I had to go in store to fix it. No free online returns and a nightmare to deal with customer service. Who has time for this in this day and age. I was about to outfit myself and my hubby to hike the AT. Needed full gear for both.... definitely thousands $$$$ won't be buying it here

I have always been a fan of MEC until now. Placed an order for products in stock on July 27th for a trip I was leaving on August 6th. 7 business days/10 days.
Getting ready to leave for my trip and only a couple products have arrive. The most important items won’t arrive for another 3-4 days.
12-13 days delivery is not a reasonable delivery time, I called and spoke with support and was told the best they will do is provide me a “free” return shipping label. $11.95 value.
For a company that doesn’t make products just buys from a supplier then resells this is horrible service. I will no longer shop with MEC or MEC online. Maybe Amazon next day delivery has ruined me. But as far as I am concerned 5 days would be a reasonable delivery time. Not 12-13.
Very disappointed.

We were trying to purchase a tent pole on our way to go camping and were unable to find one. They were able to piece one together and save our camping trip. The customer service was excellent and we really appreciated their willingness to help!
