Over priced !!!!! How is this a second hand store selling items $5- $10 less than brand new. Example : girls chucky costume is being sold for $30, that's plus tax of course and it's $34.99 brand new from Spirt Halloween around the corner. Absurd !!!!! And as the other reviews state already, horrible customer service !!!!! Go anywhere but here ?

Amazing place, always get a decent amount of money for my items. Great customer service also. I always find good quality items for my kids here and the prices cannot be matched. Highly recommend !!!

I was visiting Barrie and I needed a sweater for my daughter Friday night as the weather changed drastically. I was in the area off this business and dropped in. They had isles off stocked clothes. They also had many other things including toys books and bikes and strollers. I thought it was a really neat store. We looked around and found what we were looking for. The lady working on 06/08/24 was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this store.

They dont care to look through the items. And I think they just randomly pick and select. Most good condition toys were returned

Went in today to try and sell some of daughters baby clothes as she has grown out of them. I had a laundry basket full of clothes sizes 0 months to 9 months. They looked at maybe 5 pairs of onesie pjs, placed the pjs opened on top of basket to make it look like they went through the rest of the basket. When I got home I went through the basket to see what they took and they didn’t even bother to look at any clothing as it was still all nicely folded and sorted by sizing that I organized and set up last night. On top of that they told me that they could only offer me 2 dollars as the rest was not up to ‘condition’. Be mindful that 70% of these clothes were not even worn, so I am very confused how new clothes never worn aren’t up to their standards.

Don’t bother. They won’t take even half of your clothes due to condition. I removed any clothes that were worse for wear before taking anything to the store. Unless it’s brand new I would love to understand the terms around “condition” but even then I doubt they would take it.Wont be back

I’ll be sticking with Once Upon a Child from now on. It seems like every single time I go to this store I leave thinking I’ll never go back. I then wait a few months and decide to try again, but this time I mean it. Customer service is awful, often find clothes with rips or stains on the racks. The prices aren’t great considering if you bring in a buy they offer you pennies for your items. I was literally offered $8 for a pair of maternity jeans, a brand new with tags maternity t-shirt and 2 small toys. What a waste of time and just a joke at this point. It would make sense if they low balled you, if their prices were low, but they aren’t. You can find way better items at Once Upon a Child and it’s more affordable.
