Great beutiful outdoor store with a huge selection. If you are looking for anything to do with hunting or fishing, they will likely have it. They are however not the cheapest and you can likely find a more budget friendly price elsewhere. Great location and lots of parking in this dog friendly store.

My son purchased a gift card for me and when I checked the balance, it was zero!
Cabelas said they would not replace the funds.
It is both disappointing and frustrating that they could not assist. It is my understanding that Gift cards have been compromised more in recent months and therefore, they should have a system in place to reimburse people who have been robbed. This is obviously a problem with their gift cards and there should be a better system in place so that this kind of fraud does not continue.
I would have expected a company like Cabelas to replace the card in good faith since I have never made any such previous claims. Unfortunately, this left a very bad taste for the organization and it's credibility.

Was here yesterday to buy a gun. Bought another one instead which will probably last many more years more than the one I was going to buy. Dimitri helped me way more than any other salesman would ever and was so patient with me. I'm still a newbie to hunting and guns but he helped me through the entire process. Also he helped me choose optics for the gun, case, trigger lock and ammo. Best Cabelas Employee ever. Will be back in a few months to this Barrie location even though I live in Mississauga and Bass Pro Shop Vaughan is closer. Thanks.

I love any store that allows (well behaved) dogs, puts water out and has treats for them. Oh and for people, they have anything you could need for the outdoor life including some neat clothes.

Cabela's is a Well oil machine From from back office accounting to customer service to the team in the gun department.
We're amazing. My situation, I bought an air gun 2 months ago had some problems. I lost my receipt called. They traced it as I had information from my credit card. Had the receipt waiting for me at customer service. Replace my air gun. So smooth, everybody worked together as a great team. I worked for and been involved with companies and I was so impressed. I was there today with my grandson and everything was just so smooth. Thank you to all the staff for their help. God bless.

I live out of town and love to shop at Cabela's when I'm in Barrie (about once a year). I was in this past week and there was a new employee, a very knowledgeable young man. I believe his name is Liam. He took the time to explain the different types of knives and you could see the passion of the topic in his eyes. Thank you very much Liam.
