  Nice rooms, comfy bed, parking, centrally located. Has all the amenities you could ask for. The owner is extremely pleasant and very accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. Had a great experience. The bathrooms are shared as well as the common spaces, which was no problem for me. Definitely will stay there again.

  Our host made our stay. Great getway.Wonderful original grand home.One of those 'have to stay there' places whenever in the Bancroft area.

  My room was clean and quiet, the host delightful, breakfast prepared exactly right, and the house was interesting, conveniently located, and the parking ample, off-street, and private.Hard to find faults, but the lack of a shelf adjacent to the handbasin in my room was an inconvenient annoyance.
