I had a very disappointing experience, I went in excited to purchase two baby butterfly koi fish, only to be treated with total disrespect by a young female staff, she mentioned I could not be reimbursed if the fish dies within 14days BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE A POND OVER 200 GALLON AT HOME.
After I made my purchase, she whispered to the cashier to write “NO RETURN” on my receipt. She did this in a very low voice, assuming I wouldn’t notice.
This felt like blatant profiling and discrimination. she treated me as though I didn’t deserve proper customer service. I felt looked down on the entire time. It’s shocking that such rude and unprofessional behaviour is tolerated in a store that’s supposed to welcome and support pet owners.
This young female staff should receive proper training on how to interact with customers, rather than assuming things about them and making them feel unwelcome.

We have two beautiful huskies and they have always been bathing at the Petsmart Aurora location with no problem. We know that one of the two doesn't like blow dry and we totally understand when we were told extra charge may be applied when it takes longer to get her dried. But today, when my dad went to pick her up, not only we have been charged an extra fee, and she was still wet, AND HER LEFT FRONT LEG WAS LIMP!! And this is not forgivable!! We can't see the security camera and couldn't find out what happened but we are sure SHE WAS HURT!! We will never go back again!

I had a great experience training my puppy with Danielle. She made puppy training easy and fun. She cracks hilarious jokes too. I am glad we had Danielle as our trainer. If you want to bond with your puppy and teach him/her cool and useful tricks, definitely try out Danielle's classes.

We gotbour puppy only 2 weeks ago from a farm. She is 5 months old and needed a good bath. The groomers at petsmart are the best. I was very nervous because she has not yet settled in a home environment. She and us walked out of there the happiest. The groomers went beyond to make our first grooming experience comfortable and explained what they had to do. That's our before and after picture.

Absolutely Fabulous grooming service by Jonathan!!!
My 7-month-old std poodle pup had two haircuts previously at another grooming facility, and he kept coming home with leg socks and a schnauzer mustache. No thanks. As well, by 7 months, my pup was now bigger than the groomer.
Jonathan was recommended by his coworker and he was perfect. My pup came home looking like a poodle and was happy and soooo soft.
Joanathan will be my go-to groomer going forward.

Always an awesome experience here! I’m always greeted when my pup and I enter, staff is also very helpful and sweet! Danielle is an awesome trainer and I would definitely recommend her as well! Only thing this place is missing is a doggy day camp/pets hotel but otherwise is great for everything else!

The only way that you’re truly treating your pets smart is by virtue of dealing with Maya and Connor. Connor is the fish god, all knowing, all helpful with infinite wisdom. Much akin, Maya has a great understanding and incredibly pleasant demeanour. Give them a raise!

I have registered my puppy Benji at PetSmart training sessions. Danielle (the trainer) has been amazing. Looking forward to starting our advance class with her in September.
Also, our groomer Stephanie (at Petsm) has been wonderful, ensuring completion of professional grooming services for Benji.

Brought my corgi to this location twice for grooming, both times he got a spot. These times were 8 months apart and I’ve brought him to other groomers in between and he got nothing. It’s 100% this location as he’s been to other PetSmart location over the last 6 years.

Terrible store …..
last time when I buy a fish tank, the lady manager is rude. I subsequently bought some fishes and was told that there is a 14 days return. I was told that I don’t need the actual body of the dead animal for hygiene reason but need to take picture to prove.
On 18 June, I bought a black Molly at Newmarket PetsMart and it was dead on 29 June. Tried to return to Aurora PetsMart at 15490 Bayview Ave for exchange. The manager (who claimed to be so) refused to exchange and insisted on dead body. I initially ask her to write a note to confirm the policy which she refused.
(During covid, am sure the dead body presentation policy is unsuitable. Trust PersMart must carefully reconsider the policy during non-covid times.)
Subsequently after I insisted, at 3:50pm on 29 June, she drawn up a note on my receipt and said she is “Norina”. Now I knew that there are 2 female leaders who are uncooperative and unhelpful. Wish customers will be lucky enough and not to have either of them to assist you!
